This place wasn’t bad. The food we got was good, but didn’t seem to stand out from other Mexican restaurants. The guacamole was a bit bland for my preference, maybe more cilantro or salt would have made it more flavorful. We did go on mother’s day, but it was before they got busy. Our waiter didn’t come to our table much and we were waiting a bit, but he did apologize. Prices were reasonable, and the environment appeared clean in the dining area and women’s bathroom.

A nice place for a family or friend group lunch, but I also found it quite nice to sit in by myself. The chicken tenders are different than other places, but that’s not a bad thing at all, considering they’re absolutely delicious! I used to go to the one in Fairfield, but I also like this one 🙂 the free chips and salsa are so yummy!!

Ok, let me start with YUM! The food is fantastic. They know how to make a chili relleno! Margaritas are super fantastic! Service is fantastic. The atmosphere is fantastic. Very clean restaurant. Happy hour is great. You just can’t beat a $2.99 margarita, especially as good as they are. Definitely a recurring customer. They will know us by name in no time.

The service was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. We enjoyed the Fiesta fajitas and Nachos supreme. Looking forward to our next visit when we are in the area.
Don’t miss out on Taco Tuesday.
Ceviche with added Pico De Gallo makes a great meal all by itself.

Stopped for lunch. Walked in. Placed order. It was only about 10 minutes. The food was delicious! Got the L19 lunch and also the sopapias. So good! You must try. The portion was a good size. Not skimpy. Fast friendly service. Will definetely go back.

Went there for taco Tuesday. It says $1.99 tacos on their sign but when we received our bill, it was over $4 each. I asked about it and was told that they are only certain tacos (which we had ordered) and that it was a smaller size. This should have been made clear.
I still gave it 3 stars because the food was good. Just felt specials are deceptive.

When La Pinata’s predecessor, LaCuezela, burned down, I was extremely saddened, as it was truly the only Mexican Restaurant that I loved! Going to La Pinata tonight, it has fresh paint, the adorably brightly picturesque chairs and benches. The music is traditional Mexican Restaurant music. There is a bar with quality liquors and three televisions. The service was very quick, our server extremely friendly and patient with us, and the food was excellent. My quasadilla was huge, loaded with steak. The fajitas were sizzling. The burritos were huge, with beans on one side and rice on the other. The chips, salsa and quaso dip were delicious and frequently replenished.

Reasonable prices, food is always good and portions are good. These make up for the slow service which was the same this visit as in the past two times.

Fabulous all around! Lovely lunch on the patio. Service was great as was the food. Chips & salsa & big drinks. What more could one ask for.

Was craving a chicken taco salad. Very disappointed. It was very “wet”. The bottom of the shell was filled with a liquid that made the entire shell soggy. It was like chicken had not been drained at all. Not a lot of flavor. Won’t be back.
