Finally a nice place to just wind down, drink some coffee and catch up on soc social media and if you happen to get hungry, the personal chef will whip you up something delicious. The atmosphere is amazing. Makes you feel right at home. I really love going to this place and plan on going back again.

I have had the pleasure of eating here on several occasions and just recently had them host a birthday party for my mom. Such an adorable place with amazing food and friendly and attentive service. Five stars all around! If you are looking for a great meal or even better a special place to have an event, look no further!

Amazing time spent here and learning about the work being done to support local vendors and growers in the state. All the food items are locally sourced and grown in Louisiana and in some cases within the small community here. The Chef is also from Golden Meadow in Cajun country, so you know it’s gonna taste great!

I had the breakfast taco (not tocos). It was so tiny and just one. It was literally just 2 bites. I don’t think it even had a whole egg in it. It didn’t even had any type of garnish. Come on really? Anything? An orange slice or something would have been nice.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed my favorite spot in Marksville!

Whether you want authentic Acadiana cuisine, locally produced food products, or just to connect with your community, La Petite Affaire is where you go. They do not make your food, they craft it with immense care and passion, using classic French techniques and bold Cajun flavor- whole ingredients, from scratch, every time.

So, if you want something delicious served by people who care, there’s not a better spot in town. Everyone is welcome at La Petite- come get a taste of true southern excellence.

We came to town for a meeting, but didn’t want to eat in the casino. We found this little gem of a restaurant. The service was outstanding, we were greeted at the door and attended to like we were royalty. These people have the best little home town restaurants I’ve been to in years. And the food!! Fresh home made bread, farm fresh eggs, real cheese, and some of the best coffee I’ve ever had, and it’s brewed right here in Louisiana from Real Cajun people. I can not recommend this lovely restaurant highly enough.

Excellent venue with friendly faces and fresh eats. We could have spent a couple hours here eating and talking but we had a pressing appointment. The breakfast sandwiches alone are worth the trip from wherever you are.
