Our dinner at La Perlita was fantastic! It’s a bit of a hike from the main tourist square, but worth the journey. Service was excellent, very friendly staff. We ordered ceviche and it was some of the best we’ve had.

I learned about La Perlita on the airplane down from a lady who grew up on Cozumel. It’s easy to find, clean and bright and the staff and owners are so friendly! They made recommendations and explanations and everything we ordered was fresh and cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Prices are very fair and they do take CC. It’s more of a locals day time place but for dinner at 7pm the portions were still generous. A wide selection of both food and beverages-We will visit again!

Had a great experience at La Perlita. Ordered the lobster with butter. Let me pick my tail from the tray. Delicious. Wife had a chili relleno, says it was the best she ever had. Simple place, back in the hood off 65 Ave. not far from the airport.

One of my favorite restaurants on the islands. Have been coming here for years and bring all my family and friends here, as well. We first started going for their lionfish tacos but honestly all the seafood we’ve had is amazing. The staff are super nice, too! Thanks for an amazing experience

Please excuse the late submission. My wife and I both had dinner at La Perlita a couple weeks ago. This was our second time dining at this restaurant previously. We had been there 10 years ago while vacationing in Cozumel.
This is a local restaurant. Certainly off the beaten path from most tourist traffic to the island. It is an open air restaurant.
We were quickly seated at our table. Our waiter was fluent in English as we spoke no Spanish. The restaurant is able to get lionfish on occasion and it was my desire to try this fish.
I chose to have my lionfish fried with a light unsweetened coconut breading. The shrimp were very well cooked with a large serving of garlic.
We both enjoyed our meals very much and highly they recommend the restaurant. The restaurant is easily accessible by taxi or colectivo.

This place is a little bit out of the way from the main downtown area, which is a good thing in my opinion. I LOVED it & they do take major credit cards. I had an awesome Shrimp Cocktail to start with & freshly caught Grouper Fish Fillet grilled with garlic & seasonal vegetables. It was all GREAT & the same staff were very attentive & definitely care about what they are doing to please you. I would definitely go again & recommend it to all! Two thumbs up from me!

Amazing ceviche, I had octopus ceviche, my wife had lion fish ceviche, and my niece had shrimp ceviche. We all really enjoyed our meals. My friend had the coconut shrimp and it blew my mind how good it was. They make their guacamole fresh when you order it. My only criticism is that the tortilla chips were a little burnt, but that’s just me looking for something to criticize.
