Not everybody speaks English and most of the menus are in Spanish, but the food is excellent!!
Nice little hole in a wall place, we liked it!
Pupusa with Loroco and cheese was really good. The chicken portion is generous and it comes with hot tortillas. The tacos were good too!

This place used to be amazing like 10 years ago when it was actually Latin Flavors. Now it’s El Riconcito and it’s honestly terrible. We gave them 3 tries and each time it got progressively worse. This last chance my whole family got food poisoning.
Also, why are you putting honey mustard on a burrito? And on the side for chips? That’s just….wrong.

Favorite neighborhood spot! Amazing! The Papusas are pretty much Honduran quesadillas and so yummy. The torta de pollo is delicious, and my favorite is the tacos hondureños, rolled up chicken tacos fried with cabbage salad and cheese on top!!! Such a nice family spot.
There are new owners from the time I posted this , haven’t been since they changed their name.

This restaurant had me wishing I had trusted the prior reviews about the unfriendly service and lack of posted prices. Nor do they give itemized reciepts.

The food was very flavorful and delicious, but it was definitely overshadowed by the cold and unfriendly service. We ordered a caldo de res, 4 pupusas mixtas, one water, and one horchata. They never brought the horchata to our table.

When it was time to pay, I asked them to remove the horchata because they never served it and I was met with a blank face and no response. Not even a “sorry about that.” Then after that, they still asked how much we wanted to leave as a tip on our card… It definitely felt like they just wanted us to pay and be on our way out. It felt very awkward leaving the restaurant and we felt our total of $31.72 was off for 2 people, again because of no posted prices and no itemized receipt.

Central American flavor in the Sugarhill area near the Broadstone Apts. The space, in this Honduran cafe, is small but they offer take out. The pupusas are delicious! Try the Tamarind drink, its a sweet, refreshing beverage.

This is the hidden gem of Sugar Hill. But not for long. I love the reviews that led me here and hope many more will enjoy the Tacos, Pupusas, Carne a la Plancha, Tostadas de Tinga, and Tortas as much as I have. Also, I love the Coke with real sugar.
