Loved the icecream and the food. I went there with my kids, and they all loved it. I love that it is a family business, and the mom of the girl who took care of us is the one who handmakes all of the icecream with her son. The girl behind the counter was so sweet, and the ice cream and food were delicious.

We ordered for the first time yesterday. Got Al pastor tacos and burrito, they were both delicious. Couldnt pass up the ice cream so I got some of that too- amazing. The restaurant is laid back and a perfect place to go and eat with young kids. I met lulu (I think she is the owner?) and she was so kind! We will definitely be back and look forward to going again!

That place used to be a cleaners… I have no clue as to when they turned it into a restaurant. When we looked up restaurants near us… that place popped up. So we decided to walk there since the weather was amazing. When we got there, the layout was a little odd. The ice cream menu was mixed up with the food menu… We ordered tacos and 2 drinks… the Chorizo taco was extremely salty and too spicy. The chips were decent, I kept snacking on the chips because the food took a minute to come out, the salsa had no flavor. Idk, I might be a picky person… Check it out for yourself…

This is an ice cream / dessert stop that has a limited lunch / dinner menu. The chicken burrito was excellent! The tacos al pastor was excellent as well. The empanadas are large and are deep fried (quesadillas fritas) not baked. The chicken empanadas are good but you have to wait about 15 minutes for them to be made fresh for you.

Delicious!! Chicken tacos, great!!! Burritos are HUGE!! El pastor, scrumptious!! Salsa is great, too!!

The food service and hospitality was absolutely wonderful here. I got a torta and an Oreo shake and it was to die for! I can’t wait to come back and try the ice cream next time. Absolutely incredible al pastor and steak tacos. The al pastor was perfect and reminded my wife and I of our favorite taco place in the city, so glad we don’t have to make that drive anymore! We have lived in Island Lake for 3 years and these are definitely the best tacos in town. My wife and kids love the ice cream too. Highly recommend!

Just walking up to this place puts a smile on my face and my mouth watering. Great food, the ‘Elotes’ are incredible and all the food and drinks including the ice cream and horchata are on point. It shows they take pride in the food preparation and bundled in with friendly service, this is an amazing little restaurant, and I’m glad they expanded. The specials are also great and they have a lot of variety including snacks. Sigue con el buen trabajo, La Pequeña Mariposa!!
