The food is good. Service is absolutely terrible. I’ve been here more than once to give them a fair chance, but it doesn’t change. If you have a ‘to go’ order, they literally just leave you waiting at the counter. No acknowledgement. No communication. If you ‘dine in’, you have to flag the waitress for a refill because once your food comes, it’s like they are done with your table.
Don’t go here if you want customer service… You won’t find it.

The place and decorations are very nice, wonderful spot if you like your servers to ignore for 40 minutes, I’m not from the area and waiter just waves her hand in ignorance like I should know to sway myself, the rice that came with my plate felt and tasted hours old, it was a nice experience when other Mexican people would come into the restaurant they would get a Greeting and smile but I got silenced and my food slide to me, I could’ve went to a Taco Bell for better service

So we placed a order in La Petrona last night and they charge me $5.95 extra for my special request! Was my steak medium rare sauce on the side I was confused. I called the store and she said she was the owner and she was yelling rude as hell and made me come down there and she was still yelling I was told here if she want to up charger someone cuz the online menu is wrong they need to call she didn’t even give me the steak that come with that meal and I took it home wasn’t made right all wrong dry and gross I called the store back to have them remake my food she told me no and I ask for my money back she told me no as well and to bring the food back if I wasn’t going to eat it worst customer experience ever

Everything about la patrona and their food is deliciously amazing, they make good food and try their best to keep up with new tables especially during the mornings, the boss lady is a good lady, she has some bad attitude but it probably because something happened in her personal life, people shouldn’t just see the lady for her attitude and see her as a normal human being like the rest of us, she tries her best to be positive but she deals with a lot of hate from these customers and their attitude
