Drove down for late lunch, and it was quiet at 1:30pm. Friendly staff and the food was delicious. The burrito was well built, flavorful and browned perfectly all-around. The asada plate was big, lots of food, fragrant. Would definitely return!

Triángulos got me so good. Salsa just like home, comforting and perfectly piquant. Tlayudas, the best pizza adjacent food there ever was, dare I say, better than(?).

So worth the drive out to cute little Guadalupe. The food was so yummy. Chips made just for use. The cheese tamales were full of flavor. The alpastor was super yummy. The torta bread was fresh. So worth the stop.

My favorite place to grab food in Guadalupe. Authentic oaxaqueño food, I mean where else are you going to find oaxaqueño triángulos or empanadas de hongo besides someone’s home? The cooks are legit señoras who have tons of experience cooking for their family and community and it shows. My mom was hospitalized and as soon as she came home I brought her caldo de pollo from here cuz I knew it would be up to her standards, my mom was happy to have it. Best restaurant salsa rojo I’ve had, I’m pretty sure the chiles are imported from Oaxaca. My go to order is the picadas (fried) with lots of salsa rojo. If you’re ordering take out, order ahead, lots of things are made to order so to shorten the wait time, order ahead. Tip the cashiers if you can.

Best ever Menudo hit the spot on this cold, cloudy day. The pork was fall off the bone tender in a flavorful broth that wasn’t greasy. The order came with warm, just made corn tortillas. Very nice lady takes your order at the counter and you can eat in.

They burned my tortilla. It was crunchy .

We tried the tlayuda and asada fríes. Tlayudas are giant tostadas covered with black beans, cheese, meat, lettuce, tomato. Their tlayuda was lacking flavor. Asada fries were visually appealing but flavor was just ok, also lacking flavor.

Authentic food. Do not miss their molcajete. The chicken was juicy and tender and along with the salsa it was just right. I have had mole in a couple of places, but this was tasty with the right amount of spice.

Delicious! The carnitas soft taco was our favorite but everything was amazing. Fresh ingredients, big portions, fair prices. Will definitely be back!
