Update :

I originally wanted to order from a Thai place, but since it was closed, I ended up ordering from China House. I later realized this was the same place where I’d had a bad experience before, but decided to give it one more chance.

It was a busy morning and I was craving good food, so I placed a pickup order for shrimp pad thai and vegetable pad thai. The order was ready on time, and pickup itself was smooth.

Unfortunately, the food quality was unacceptable. The vegetable pad thai was completely inedible — it had granular salt throughout, and every bite was extremely salty and gritty. I couldn’t eat more than a spoonful.

The shrimp pad thai was okay initially, but after eating about a quarter of it, I realized the bottom was mixed with the same vegetable pad thai, containing the same granular salt issue.

This was my second bad experience, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

I ordered from China House late at night, as it was the only place open, and decided to try it for the first time. They serve halal food, which is a plus. The place is small, with only a few booths for dining in, so it’s more of a grab-and-go spot.

I ordered the Singapore noodles, but they were just okay—nothing exceptional. They didn’t stand out as particularly memorable. However, the service was great. I placed my order right before closing, and they were kind enough to wait for me to pick up my food, which I really appreciated.

Parking is convenient, right in front of the restaurant. Overall, it’s a solid option for late-night cravings, though the food could use some improvement.

The service was quick, the food was good except the vegetable rolls they were oily. Their soups specially the hot and sour soup was very tasty. The chef special dishes were great, its a small halal place with good food variety. My one of the problem was the lady who was the server and was on the cash counter as well, she was rude 10/10 doesn’t know how to handle the customers, no smile at all, she was even mean with my 6 years old. The other problem is their plastic ware ( I must say) one cannot enjoy the food because of cheap quality of spoons n forks, so small and flimsy. They should give proper soup spoons.

Very good Chinese food in Canton. Some of their dishes are really exceptional eg. Their General Tso’s chicken. The crispiness of the chicken stands out, I asked for the sauce to be more spicy and less sweet and I was just floored by it. Makes an excellent pairing with the noodles, my preference over rice that day.
Must have while your in Canton.
Their hot and sour chicken and Singaporean noodles are also really good.
As a side note they are Halal also, for folks who care.

We had a late night carry out of beef broccoli and General Tso’s…and man it was delicious! The vegetables in the beef broccoli were fresh, and the flavors were so good! Very pleased!

I found this family-owned Chinese spot a while ago and it’s now become one of my go-to’s. The lady who runs it is straight to the point and never disappoints. And their sesame chicken and shrimp lo mein is one of my favorites. Quick service too, always get my food in 10 minutes flat. If you’re craving some really good Chinese, definitely recommend trying.

I tried chicken curry with rice and it tasted TOO BAD. It was the worst quality food I ever tried in a Chinese restaurant in MI. Uncooked smells of turmeric and they put crazy spices. They could have asked about the spice level before.

We had the Almond Boneless Chicken. It was described as having crunchy almonds on top. It was served with a thick brown gravy. It was absolutely the worst Almond Chicken that I’ve ever had. No almonds whatsoever. The fried rice was white and terrible. Neither the boneless chicken or the fried rice could be categorized as being “Chinese”. STAY AWAY! The worst “Chinese” that I’ve ever had!!!

We ordered the General Tso and fried rice – first time ordering since our usual place is closed on Monday’s. The chicken didn’t have any flavor or much sauce, I couldn’t even tell if it was General Tso. The fried rice was not very good, hardly any flavor at all. I won’t be going back.

The food is consistent and delicious. Never feels heavy. I’ve eaten here for more than 10 years. One of the best Chinese meals to be found in the area.

I almost never write reviews, let alone bad reviews. However my disappointment was too much that I had to.

I love khao man gai and I can’t find it at ANY restaurant, even Thai ones. I found something on this menu call “Thai chicken” and saw the picture and thought that I finally found a place that has it. Granted, it’s a Chinese restaurant so I wasn’t expecting Thai authenticity but I was expecting some semblance of what was shown on the menu. What I got is NOTHING like what was pictured or what I expected. Again, this isn’t a Thai restaurant but if a restaurant has a dedicated Thai food section and has an item on the menu, there should be an effort made or just take it off the menu? Absolute false advertisement. I just wanted to finally find a place that has khao man gai. I question the authenticity of the other Thai dishes on the menu if this is their rendition of “Thai chicken”.
