Wonderful employees. Closest to Sonoran style Mexican food we have eaten since moving from AZ. The tamales were great… wrapped in corn husks not banana leafs (seems to be the norm around here). Homemade tortillas were outstanding. Very good prices too.

Brand new Mexican restaurant on Highway 905 in Longs SC. Good food, some items fairly priced to a little bit higher dollar on some menu items. Very accommodating friendly staff. Authentic Mexican food and drinks available. This place has just opened for 2 days. My food was very good and I’m eager to return to try other items on the menu. Update 2/16/26. Second visit today and the food was wonderful. Wonderful food, wonderful service. Five star quality in service today. Wonderful garlic shrimp served with beans and rice. My son had spicy shrimp with salad and rice and he loved his meal as well as I did.

La Parrilla Azteca is a true hidden gem. The food is incredibly authentic, every bite reminds me of the flavors you’d find in Puebla, Mexico. From the seasoning to the presentation, everything tastes homemade and full of tradition. The staff is also extremely friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. We ate lunch today here. It was our first time in the restaurant and won’t be our last! The homemade chips and salsa was very good. We both had chicken burritos and they were delicious. The service was great as well. Very nice experience.

The food here is so authentic and very tasty. They are new to opening so no alcohol here as of yet but really you won’t miss it once you taste their dishes. The decor isn’t as colorful or fancy as some mexican restaurants, but again, they’re new to opening. The service was great and our waitress was not only helpful but friendly. It does take a bit for your food to come out but that is a good thing, trust me!

Went here on a Friday afternoon. Service was slow but waitress was friendly. I ordered the sope carnitas. The meat was dry and flavorless so I picked it out and ate the rest. I also ordered a chorizo taco. It was fantastic. The chips and salsa were good. The Tamarind Agua Fresca was good. The other people with me really enjoyed what they ordered. Not sure I’ll go back, but it’s worth a try if you’re in the area. Prices are fair.
