La Parolaccia has been a family owned business since 2006. We are from Rome Italy and hope to bring some of our homestyle Italian cooking to you. La Parolaccia offers a relaxed and intimate atmosphere where everyone is treated like family and enjoys delicious pizza, pasta and wine.
La Parolaccia in Italian means the bad word. In Italy an osteria is a down to earth establishment where friends and family gather to enjoy great food and occasionally let out a parolaccia. We hope our home away from home becomes a place where you form great memories around great food.
Ci vediamo presto!
We accept reservations for parties of 3 or more only. Reservations can be made only by calling the restaurant during business hours.

Simple, art-lined local mainstay serving Neapolitan pies & traditional Italian dishes with wines.

Service was awesome! Overall, was an excellent experience but we did have to add a good amount of red pepper flakes to add depth to each one of our dishes. Highly recommend the tiramisu, nice and light.

While the basic flavor of the food was enjoyable, there were some quality control issues, specifically with the pizza: both the bottom and sides were unfortunately burnt. A lack of prosciutto and empty spaces on the pizza check picture). Addressing this consistent execution would greatly elevate the dining experience.
Additionally, the service was quite inconsistent. We felt a bit neglected during our meal, as we were frequently ignored by both the waitress and the busboy. Simple requests, like getting a drink refill, required a long wait, as did receiving our check after we requested it.

Decided last minute to come for our anniversary on a random weeknight, arrived before 6pm and had to wait 25-30 minutes! Definitely a great sign when the restaurant just opened at 4pm and there were so many people already coming and going. We ordered the special and probably was my least favorite dish, it was missing something for us, but was also my first time trying mortadella, which was much lighter in flavor than I anticipated. The bread was amazing though! I ordered the lasagna and honestly, fell in love. It was the perfect size with enough sauce all around- warm, gooey, and the sauce really holds the dish perfectly. I would love a lasagna on a cold winter night. My husband enjoyed his pasta dish as well. My only complaint is that they did not have many options for non-alcoholic drinks- despite having what seems like a full bar near the front? Our Italian sodas were from bottles/cans that we’ve seen before, so that was less exciting for me. The vibe was cool because it was casual or dressy- depending on who was there and our food was served right away. Overall, I’d love to come back and try more items out and I will continue to dream about that lovely lovely lasagna.

This restaurant was such a wonderful experience. The food is very flavorful with such creamy pasta and a fair amount of mushrooms and sausage. I ordered the Timballo con Carne and was blown away by how good the sauce was. The staff was very friendly and the food came out in about five or ten minutes which was surprising.

This was a great place to go for a weekend date night. Very fun atmosphere and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the way the decorated the restaurant for Halloween with the skeleton in the car.
Service was fast and courteous. I appreciated the way they offered more but didn’t push. Our waiter made recommendations that met our expectations. I had the ravioli and it was great!

Great, friendly service!Food was good, however it’s authentic Italian and you really have to know the menu regarding what you order. They do offer nightly dinner specials and are happy to assist with explaining your meal options.

I really enjoyed myself. The service was great. I had the scampi it was delicious. I wish the lobster tail was a like bigger. I wouldn’t mind paying a more for a larger tail. You get the feeling Tha at you’re amongst friends. I’ll be back!

A friend recommended this Italian oasis of deliciousness. We were in the mood for pizza and decided to go here instead of what was walkable. When you walk in, one sees the wood fired pizza over with a bar in front so patrons can watch. The restaurant is a lovely family setting. It is broken up into a number of different rooms which kept the sound down. Page, the server, reviewed the specials for evening. Both of us were very tempted to order one of them. Instead, we shared a Caesar salad and Funghi pizza with sausage. Page was attentive, the salad was brought to the table fairly soon and after some minutes after finishing it, the wood fired pizza was delivered to our table. It was the best pizza I have had in years. The best. The Italian beers and wines on offer were good. Finished with a latte. We will return soon.

We had an excellent experience at this Italian restaurant, the food was truly outstanding. Every dish we tried was flavorful, well-executed, and felt authentic, with fresh ingredients and thoughtful preparation. From the perfectly al dente pasta to the rich, savory sauces, it was clear the kitchen takes pride in what they serve.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. Whether you’re planning a date night, dinner with friends, or a family meal, this spot delivers on quality and taste.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious Italian cuisine, we’ll definitely be back!

This was a last minute heave, arrived one hour before closing, but the service and food were amazing.
Funny story: there is parking behind the building, but don’t be alarmed with the sign on the wall. It said Ferrari parking, but it is parking for all!
Highly recommend!
