La Parada is one of my favorite restaurants in San Miguel. The atmosphere, service, and food are all great. I highly recommend my favorite, the Arroz de Cilantro. It’s like a party in your mouth! It’s a great place for a romantic meal, or large groups as there’s plenty of seating.

Good food, very nice margarita and great service. The food wasn’t as vibrant as I was expecting. I’m to taking nothing away from what we were served. I wish we were offered a table a bowl of salsa which was disappointing.

We were going to try Tunki as it was recommended but we changed our minds and went to La Parada, another friend’s recommendation – what a great choice! We got there around 6pm and it was fairly quiet but quickly filled up. Excellent menu choice and service. For drinks we chose the Pisco Mojito – yum. Three of us shared the Abuelo Chumelo – excellent. Two of us had the Ceviche, one Clasico and the other Micro. Again, excellent. And finally the Arroz al Cilantro and Arroz de Mariscos. Healthy portions and very fresh and tasty. We took the leftovers home. Our server Josefina was the best.

This place was really good! I liked the courtyard vibe of the restaurant as soon as we walked in. We ordered two salads and they were both very delicious. I had the loma saltado, which was very good. My husband had some pork that was even better! The cocktails were also very nice. I would definitely go here again.

As soon as I heard about this restaurant something told me it was going to a special place.
The layout and interior decor/styling are flawless. With its retractable roof, which allows for ample natural lighting and a cool breeze to fill the air with the amazing aroma of fine Peruvian cuisine. The decorative back wall creeps with lush foliage that draws the eye to the sky. This is the type of setting you’d want to recreate in your home living space.
Let’s talk cuisine.
La Parada boasts some of the freshest and finest ingredients in San Miguel de Allende. And they definitely lives up to those claims.
I can’t even begin to describe the fast array flavors that attack your taste buds in every mouth-watering bite. There’s something for just about anyone on the menu. You will not be disappointed whatsoever.
The service and wait staff are incredible and greats every guest with a smile. They thoroughly explain every item on the menu.
I’ve been to many restaurants here in San Miguel de Allende, and La Parada ranks right at the top.
This is a must, must try.

Found 2 small bones in my pulled pork sandwich.
Only ate one half of it.
There was no apology from the staff whatsoever.
They simply said that it happens sometimes!
Also there is no mention of corn in the pulled pork sandwich nor the stuffed avocado.
Oh and the music is deafening. Could hardly hear
Across the table.

Excellent Peruvian fare with a local interpretation. All ingredients were super fresh and the ceviche was if we were eating at a port on the coast. All dishes were well seasoned. I have to also mention the house butter which was incredible. Salty and delicious. Both my partner and I enjoyed all aspects of our meal. Cozy restaurant space with friendly and attentive service. We visited on a recommendation and would pass that same recommendation on to others.

The cilantro rice with chicken in a creole sauce as well as the pork short ribs with garlic mashed potatoes were absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere and you have to check out the ingenious locks on the bathroom doors.

Food was delicious and when we first arrived the music was fabulous, not too loud very enjoyable to have a beautiful meal. Halfway through our meal another group arrived and the staff catered to them turning off the lovely music and turning on the football game. … They brought a speaker and put it on the next table to ours and it was very loud. It truly ruined our experience. It was very loud and very annoying….. not everyone enjoys football, especially when trying to experience fine dining. . Isnt that what sports bars are for…. not a fine dining establishment!!!

La Parada ceviche with mango was delicious and the best dishes we ordered. The avocado with octopus salad was okay. For main dishes we ordered beef with soy sauce and pork rib. The beef was a bit too salty while the pork was a bit too sweet.
