I have always been a fan of La Palapa in Southside, but I love that they have a Lawrenceville location now too. Their Birria is the absolute best – so tender and juicy! Their queso is really great too. The nachos are a huge plate and great for sharing.

i wanted to order the chips and salsa however you had options of pico or a red sauce . I ordered the red sauce but it was so thin I had to pay extra for the pico and combine the two to make the dip what any traditional Mexican restaurant would have provided as a free appitzer. I had the Enchiladas for $16.00 and the food was very basic with very little beef and Verdes that barely covered the plate. My food was done in under 5 minutes so I believe it was hot holding waiting to sell. I was in LH so they had other food vendors so I choose another vendor. I also tried to order a beverage and they pointed to the free water station behind me. They missed an entire line item for sales not offering beverages. My suggestion is to call Coca Cola and the will provide a free cooler as long as you order their products.
