Very authentic Mexican food. The tortillas, sopes, and huaraches are hand made and make everything that much more delicious. We tried 1 sope de chorizo, 1 huarache de carne asada, 1 taco de asada, and 1 taco de pollo and all of the food was soooo satisfying. We also got an agua de piña con mango and saying that it was refreshing is an understatement. All the people working were attentive and they also do catering FYI! Can’t wait to be back to try their tamales oaxaqueños and their tlayudas.

There are not enough stars to rate Mrs Rosalía’s food!!
I visited for the first time today. For a truck she has a great set up! Little stools and a bar and a table with chairs covered with a tarp for bigger parties.
I like that she has pictures of the food along with the prices.
The owner is the one taking orders and making the food, she has one lady helping her to assemble the dishes and they do a fine work! ✨
I had the memelitas that were delicious!! And took the costilla plate home.
Definitely coming back!!

Love the huaraches! And the empanadas fritas! Each plate is substantial, the meats are all so well cooked, everything else is so fresh! And they are only 5 minute walk from our home. We love taking our dogs out for a walk to the park and get the food here.

I haven’t been to Oaxaca before, but I’ve been to Mexico City a few times. The mole at La Oaxaquense compares with what I’ve had in Mexico. The perfect balance of sweet and savory. The salsas and homemade tortillas were the perfect complements. Tender chicken. Can’t ask for more.
Make sure to call ahead of time to confirm their location. They’re usually at the plaza arroyo skate park but sometimes they set up at different places.

There are benefits to finding oneself in an unfamiliar neighborhood and searching Google. I was looking for a taco truck near me that accepted credit cards since we foolishly left the house with only $2.00. La Oaxaquense Food Truck was the top result, and with 4.8 stars, many of them from people who know Oaxacan food, I figured we couldn’t go that far wrong. We hit the jackpot! We asked for traditional choices and chose the Tlayuda, which kinda looks like a Mexican pizza or very large tostada. We sat on a bench in the park and feasted! It was delicious. The beef and chorizo were both very tasty, as were the black beans. Together with the avocado, tomato, cheese and cabbage, we ate far more than we should have since it was so yummy. It certainly made us want to come back and try some of the other dishes.
The service was very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend La Oaxaquense Food Truck. It’s worth going out of your way for!

About as good of Mexican food as you’ll find in San Jose. So glad she’s posted up at the park down the street, I stop by at least once a week. Best burrito spot I’ve found in SJ since Agave closed 5 years ago IYKYK. Tortas and Sopes highly recommended as well.

I don’t understand why this is not literally the most popular taco truck in San Jose. This is without question the BEST place for tacos, tortas, burritos or any other Mexican fare. This place is the BOMB!! Super nice ladies running the show too. They don’t always open at 12 like the link says so better to show up closer to 1pm. But you have to try this place… You will be glad you did!! FANTASTIC!!!

The best memelas y pozole I ever had. ❤️
Here in San Jose.
I am from Mexico City, and I certified this place as authentic memelas y pozole.
The customer service is great, and the atmosphere is as good as a truck food it can be.
I will come back as often as I can.
I wish they bring and branch to Campbell’s town.
