I spent $32 on a chicken and shrimp penne vodka here. A bit over priced, but I’ll pay this since the sauce and food are usually high quality. I open the container and first thing I see is a hair, with more hairs below the pasta. It is only fair that I get clean quality service if I purchase from a restaurant, especially with how this restaurant is trying to present themselves.

I love Italian and couldn’t wait to try! When I arrived, I parked in their driveway. I walked into a cute takeout/dine in restaurant! I sat and was served by Walter, and he was great! This place is BYOB. I ordered the Mini Rice Balls, Fra Diavolo Mussels, Chicken Marsala and salad, and Shrimp, Scallop, and arugula in pink sauce. My favorites were the mussels and the pasta dish! I also had the rice pudding for dessert, and that was delicious! All in all I had a good experience!

Met Aunt & Uncle for lunch. They’ve never been & we extremely pleased w the bread & their meals. I asked for olive oil, butter was brought out, and it was as delicious as our meals. Buffalo salad, Chicken Marsala*, Rigatoni Bolenese & Grilled Chicken* served over sauted spinach w portobello mushroom, red peper & mozzarella w balsamic reduction drizzle (very flavorful & a healthy choice option). *were entrées that came w salad or pasta. U must go to this pizzeria restaurant. Dinning rm is lovely & cozy. Food fresh, delicious & resonable priced!

Ordered a sicilian pie and garlic knots (extra garlic….I love it loaded with garlic). Was told 30 minutes, arrived in 15 just in case it was done. It wasn’t, but they had it all ready in another 7-8 minutes, very reasonable. Cashier was very polite, and friendly. I got home (about a 5 minute ride) to a soggy crusted, over salted, runny cheese pie. It was edible, but far from stellar. Disappointing to say the least as I was told it was an excellent pie. Sadly, not so. In addition, the garlic knots had absolutely NO visible garlic, definitely no where not near what is pictured on their webdite, no less any extra, as ordered. There was a hint of garlic flavor, that’s it. They were crispy, however, a good touch. To say, “One and done,” is an understatement. Won’t be back, which is unfortunate as they are so close to home

Today was the first time hubby & I came here. It’s a clean and cozy restaurant. Our waiter was sweet and attentive. I drink LOTS of water and here it’s nicely chilled w/ ZERO aftertaste. If it tastes like the pipes, I’m outta there! Waiter presented us with hot focaccia rolls in a basket. Super delish!
Started w/Risotto balls (4) comes w/Vodka sauce. FRIGGEN YUM!! Not heavy or greasy. Coating was super light, crispy & nice & hot! I drank the leftover sauce it was SO GOOD. Split a slice Buffalo Chicken pizza. Not heavy or overloaded w/cheese. Sooo tasty and cooked to absolute perfection.
Grilled chicken & Broccoli rabe: 2 large pieces of moist, flavorful perfectly grilled Chicken. FINALLY EDIBLE BROCCOLI RABE! At Gencarelli’s it’s cooked to absolute perfection. No greasy, continuous feel like you’re going to choke pieces of rabe. Was plated beautifully w/chunks of roasted garlic. Even the stems were soft and edible, absolutely DIVINE! Finally Linguini w/shrimp Fra Diavolo. Linguine/shrimp were cooked to perfection and the sauce was super flavorful! Generous portions and great prices. We also met the owner and he was very welcoming & personable. He took the time to come over and asked if we enjoyed our meal. He also informed us on lots of their other dishes. We most definitely will be back. This is now our new favorite place!

Honestly I would rate it 0 stars but I didn’t because of how much I paid. Thank god for Uber Eats promotion I got 2 pies, 2 Penni vodka pasta, 2 garlic bread and 2 mozzarella sticks for $50 this is why a give it 2 stars but other then that The pizza was salty and the dough has changed a lot doesn’t taste as good as a year ago. The Pasta was the worst the sauce tasted like jar sauce and again a year ago it was my go to for vodka sauce alone. Mozzarella stick was alright and same to the garlic bread. Really sad I liked this place and it has changed a lot.

Dont eat here if you look poor theyll treat like a second class citizen. Tonite I stopped in after work with my 6 year old daughter to grab a few slices and sit and eat. I work in construction and was wearing work clothes which for a PIZZA PLACE shouldn’t matter. Well as soon as I walked in the girl at the counter looked at me with disgust and had to ask her manager for permission for us to even have a seat in the half empty dining room. The owner must have been having a get together unbeknownst to everyone else because we were treated like garbage compared to the table full of wealthy folks. The waiter acted like they didnt have any slices and had to “check” for us? Are you kidding me? The whole time he acted annoyed that we wanted to sit and eat our slices. We just walked out because it was clear we put a damper on their little party next time close the restaurant if youre going to treat people like crap

Food was incredible. When arrived, they made sure if we were happy with our table or if we wanted to move to another table. The food was incredible. Service was top notch. Danny and Walter were great! Looking forward to our next visit.

I ordered a Buffalo chicken pizza, but what I received tasted like it had ketchup or a sweet BBQ-based sauce instead of actual Buffalo sauce. When I called to let them know, the front desk person argued with me and insisted I “didn’t know what I was talking about,” claiming she saw the pizza maker use Buffalo sauce. The manager then told me their “Buffalo sauce is a homemade and made out of BBQ sauce,” which explains why the pizza was sweet and nothing like Buffalo. Never heard of buffalo sauce made out of bbq.

Between the incorrect order and the unprofessional response, this was a really disappointing experience. I won’t be ordering from them again.
