Food 5/5: Tried the soup Fideos, very flavorful. Thin, tiny, noodles and like a Mexican rice broth. Also had the beef enchiladas w/ red sauce and an over-easy egg. It wasn’t spicy to me but my wife initially said it was too spicy for her so we switched. I had the chicken enchiladas w/ green sauce. It too was very good, just not as spicy.

The chips & salsa are very good. Salsa has just the right amount of kick to it. The green enchiladas do not come with the traditional crema, which is a bit disappointing that you have to ask for it and then wait. My daughter ordered the beef tacos and loved them. I drink tea unsweetened, and it’s often hard to find really good unsweet tea because it’s often bitter. But the tea here is excellent . It really doesn’t need anything else added to it.

Great new Mexican food here. We lived in ABQ for years but moved to Arizona. Any time we pass through NM and have a chance to get new Mexican we take it. This place ranks with the best of the new Mexican restaurants in the state. The food is great. However, it is a smaller restaurant so expect a wait during busier times. Not a ton of seating so it might be worth calling before to see the wait. Great value for the quality of food though!

I’ve been coming here since my dad would bring us as kids. The red and green burritos are great with a bit of a spicy kick. They are kind of small for the price though. Two burritos came out to $14.00 plus tax.
