It took over a hour for the food to even come out, burnt chicken tiqutos with lettuce and cheese over it and the enchiladas plate is even worse they poured to much cheese that wasn’t mixed correctly and made them super soggy and with a bunch of lettuce on top the menudo is horrible and it stinks when you open it and it’s no meat or hominy all juice just overall everything is horrible and overpriced worst authentic Mexican food ever tasted!

I googled, caldo de res nearby. Four places showed up. This place was the third on the list and all others didn’t have it when I called to order. This place is a tiny corner restaurant on the other side of the freeway dividing fort worth and everman street in Everman Tx? Don’t let Google fool you. Make sure you input the address because It kept getting MapQuest as 58 minutes out of my home when I just pressed the directions from the web online. It turned out to be 8 minutes from my home 76134 zip code. I will say that the phrase..” Don’t judge a book from it’s cover describes this place. Being a El Paso Tx native and a proud Mexican cuisine food critic. I give this taste of home restaurant a 5 plus. It won’t disappoint.
