First time here and loved it! Great location-on the beach and able to view the fantastic sunset. Service was prompt and staff very friendly. Good food and tasty margaritas. Shared appetizers included the calamari and guacamole with chips. I had the chicken fajitas as an entree. All of the food was very good. Will definitely return here the next time I am in Cozumel.

We were lucky enough to catch a gorgeous Cozumel sunset here, and the hut style beach aesthetic is everything you imagine when picturing a relaxed island evening. Rustic, charming, and perfectly placed right by the water, it feels effortless and authentic not overdone, just beautiful.
We kept it simple and ordered two Cokes and some French fries, and honestly, the fries were so yummy crispy, hot, and perfect to snack on while soaking in the moment. Sometimes it’s not about an elaborate meal, but about where you are and who you’re with. We sat there chatting, completely unhurried, watching the cruise ships slowly sail away as the sky transformed with the most incredible sunset colors. It was one of those moments that feels magical and sweet at the same time.
The servers were genuinely kind and welcoming, which added so much to the experience. You feel relaxed and cared for, never rushed. Around us, people were snorkeling and paddle boarding until the light faded, which made the whole scene feel alive and connected to nature. To top it off, we even watched pelicans swooping down into the water to catch fish such a cool and unforgettable sight.
La Monina isn’t just a place to grab a drink or a bite it’s a moment, an experience, and a memory waiting to happen. Just north of the beaten path and great for sunset views and delicious food. They have a large selection of seafood dishes and many other items to choose from. Try the crunchy cheese and delicious sangria. The service was excellent and they were patient with our in progress Spanish. They are also dog friendly which is a bonus as we often go to out with our furry friends.

A beautiful place by the ocean, the views are incredible! Mezcal drinks and the fish were delicious, also the local white wine with it. Emanuel was our waiter, he was very friendly and spoke English. A little bit on The expensive side. Enjoyed everything about the dinner and would recommend it!

From the moment I stepped into La Monina, the warm ambiance and attentive staff set the tone for an exceptional visit. My server Ever was attentive and friendly the food never disappoints. The shrimp ceviche, shrimp tacos drinks are amazing. This is my go to every year visiting Cozumel ! Amazing view great vibe !
