Service is excellent a smile and good attention. Bakery products are ok, coffee is very good. Prices are a little higher than Starbucks, I think are high for a standard bakery $10 for a regular coffee ($6), and $3.50 for a pan dulce plus taxes and $1 tip a total of $11.50. Parking is enough. If they consider their prices maybe more customers, I had to stay there like for almost two hours and a very few customers, and their curious attitude also about prices.

Many drink options from hot to cold. Tried a few, my favorites include cafe de olla, café Oaxaca, Horchata drinks and Matcha drinks. Pan dulce and cookies are a 10.

I was craving a coffee and this spot was close by. I didn’t get the coffee but got something better.
I ordered their champurrado and it was delicious. I highly recommend it on a cold or hot day. It was a nice temperature and the flavor is just right.
I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.

Finally tried their champurrado and a tres leches cake. The drink was great and the cake was phenomenal, great to pair with each other. Overall a solid snack for the brunch time.

I love coming to this cafe in my lunch breaks. I love their sweets, my favorite is the chocolate croissant but I also liked the Dulce de leche. The people that work there are so sweet. Pictures is the horchata latte and it’s great!

Parking available which makes it easy to access. After looking at other monarca, others indicated limited parking. If I’m nearby, I will definitely consider this one. Friendly ppl.

This café has a modern design but serves pan dulce that tastes like it’s straight from a traditional Mexican bakery. The conchas are fluffy and pair perfectly with their café de olla. Staff is warm and welcoming, and they don’t rush you if you’re working or chatting. It’s small inside, but very comfortable. Definitely feels like a hidden gem in LA

I wish they had a location in the South Bay. Their croissants and breakfast tacos are excellent. The iced champurrado is my favorite.
We always stop by when we’re up that way.
