Fajitas had no seasoning. See pic looks like it was boiled. Chicken did not have much flavor either. Black bean side was the consistency of soup.

I love this place. Food is always good here. Portions are big, and the quality of food is amazing. My favorite things on the menu are tortilla soup and nachos. I recommend trying this place. You won’t be disappointed.

I stopped by to have a drink Saturday night & ended up staying to have a whole dinner because the menu looked so good. From the moment we walked in the owner & the servers were super welcoming. I had the mango margarita which I highly recommend (they are strong ) & I also had the “queso fundido” as an app & “steak sopes” for my entree. The food had alot of flavor and they put alot of meat on their dishes which i enjoyed. Our server continuously checked up on us and the owner also walked around asking if we had liked our food & drinks which was very nice of him to do. Thank you La Mesa for a great Saturday night. We will definitely be back.

Finally came in for dinner here after driving past time after time and so glad I did. Our server Sonya was very kind and attentive, taking the time to talk to myself and my friend and ensure the quality of our meal. The food didn’t take long to come out, and when it did, I was very impressed by the presentation. My chicken empanadas were crisp and flavorful. I had never had flan before but ours was very nice and served with fresh fruit. Looking forward to coming back in soon 🙂

Drinks are amazing. Servers are great. They were out of 1 type of soup when I want that I wanted to try. Place looks awesome. Food is ok. The food taste is a Gourmet Style of Spanish food. So for me it did not have a lot of flavors. The Steak was Great though just not the Empanadas. Must try Tres Leches, I would recommend

Visited La Mesa for the first time. My husband and I were beyond impressed! The quality of the drinks and food was amazing. The atmosphere is super cute. Our server, Johnny, was very friendly and recommended a drink based on my very vague “something sweeter” and it was perfect! We’ll definitely be back soon and will recommend La Mesa to our friends and family.

Whelp, let me just say after hearing all the hustle and bustle about this place I definitely had to give it a shot. If your in the area you know of Tacos El Tio, well Hasta Luego Tacos El Tio and hello La Mesa!! Everything from the food, to the service, to the atmosphere makes this place somewhere where you want to visit time and time ago. First off, the drinks were all greatly made, a little on the strong side but easy to drink nonetheless. The food came out hot and fresh and did not disappoint. Then the service, our server Brandy was always there at the right time, we never had to wait too long for the next drink or food. Overall, you will not be disappointed if you come here. They do take reservations so it wouldn’t hurt to rsvp before coming but we got in not problem. Pictures are the nachos, shrimp tacos, and the guac and chips!! Can’t go wrong, stop on out and give them a try!!
