La Mascotte is an amazing, truly typical French restaurant. The staff were polite, professional, and very welcoming. We were able to stay with our dog, and they made us feel completely comfortable.
They are dog friendly as I could have my Christmas Eve dinner and bring my dog too!
They also spoke English, which made everything easier. A wonderful experience overall!

Such a lovely experience. I felt so well cared for for my birthday. We had a large party and they handled it perfectly. Thank you, La Mascotte! And the food is very good too! And the wine suggestions were excellent.

This place was absolutely delicious! My husband was craving oysters and escargot and this was just the right place to have both of them! My husband said the oysters he had were the best he’s had in his life! The cheese platter and dessert was delicious! Definitely recommend for those looking for a seafood night!

It’s my favorite restaurant! I was recommended this place by a local friend, and it truly lived up to the hype. The food is absolutely delicious — the oysters are incredibly fresh, and the wine selection is amazing (the Sancerre is so good — definitely get a bottle!). The staff are professional, very friendly, and always helpful. I just love this place!

This place is a pescatarian’s dream! Fresh oysters from different regions of France, lobster from Canada or Normandy, the freshest seafood towners this side of the Hague. Expect to spend a few euros, but this is an experience of decadence and crustaceans. Bon appétit

The food is very tasty, but it was brought to me late.
I waited about 25 minutes.
It would be good if the serving time were faster.
Also, I didn’t like that when I wanted to pay, the waiter insisted several times that I could leave a tip by card — he asked me three times. Very unpleasant.

Whenever I am in Paris, I never fail to go to there, as I always live nearby. Best oysters in town, super service, good wine, and in spite of being in the middle of a tourist attraction, it is still French and local, especially at the bar.

Classic Parisian Flavors at Mascotte – Oysters & Escargot Done Right
Mascotte, located near Montmartre, is a Parisian gem known for its exceptional oysters and escargots — and it absolutely lives up to its reputation.
The Brittany and Normandy oysters were incredibly fresh, meaty, and served on a bed of ice with lemon. Their pure, briny flavor paired perfectly with a glass of crisp champagne, making for an elegant and delicious start to the evening. The escargots, prepared with classic garlic-parsley butter, were rich, tender, and packed with flavor — exactly what you’d hope for from this French delicacy.
The restaurant itself is charming and atmospheric.
Be prepared to spend a bit more for a meal like this — high-quality seafood and timeless French dishes do come at a price. But the experience is well worth it.

Nice, quiet seafood spot in Montmartre. Everything was fresh, the oysters and monkfish risotto were great, but the scallops were our favourite of the night.
