The La Marsa story began in 2006 when three friends—Adel, Fadhel & Mo—joined together to introduce the SE Michigan community to their vision of healthy and delicious food offered in an atmosphere of Mediterranean hospitality. My family and I stopped in for lunch after a rain storm truncated our walk in the Dexter area. Simply put, the food here was delicious, and the service was great. The flat bread with garlic sauce was fresh and delicious. We ordered the shish platter for two with house fries and grilled veggies. While all three kabobs were great, I really enjoyed the chicken. It was flavorful and moist. We also had the baklava for dessert and really enjoyed it. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

Abdullah and his team create a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Food quality and quantity are excellent, esp. the hummus…and large portions – we always leave with leftovers. The service is prompt, friendly and customer-service oriented.

I ordered takeout and was immediately greeted with a, “welcome home!” What a cute sentiment, not sure if it was the owner, manager or host. I explained I had an online order and it had just come out. The gentlemen was so kind and offered to walk it out to my car because it was so hot! I parked out front as I knew I’d be just a second and had a sleeping child. He assured me that, “we’re all family! Next time you call me and ask if I can carry it out!” Very thoughtful and kind gesture that went a long way. This was my very impression and order.
