Don’t let the location fool you: this is an great restaurant. The food portions are very generous and the prices are not expensive for what is offered. We had a little slower service towards the end, however it was good overall.

Had a good time at La Marotte. The place was recommended by a local wine maker and it was exactly what we were looking for. Lovely people, friendly service and delicious food with a good selection of wine. I can absolutely recommend La Morette for a casual dinner. Only downside to me was that the atmosphere was not very cozy but the friendly staff and good food made up for it.

Great atmosphere with spacious design. Nice presentation of food. Taste also good. The tiramisu is really different from those I had in HK. The texture is rich. Crème buree is also nice. But the salad is not that good as I ate sand. Hence I gave rating 3.

Hidden Swiss gem in Pierry, great champagne selection, also by glass, and really good food inspired by traditional Switzerland, serving raclette and fondue.

Casual lodge-like theme, patio with 3 mini chalets for outdoor dining. Meat and regional cheese focused dishes with champagne/wine pairings. Menu included Raclette , whiskey marinated beef scewers, lasagna. Sizeable portions from table top ‘hot stone’ grilling of raw meat selection with gratin or potato pancakes to huge burgers. Ordering was an adventure for english speakers. Great local experience for visitors. Might have enjoyed even more with language assist.

This place probably had some of the worst service of any restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life – both in France and globally. Our waitress was very rude and unhelpful. We never received a charcuterie that we ordered, never received any butter for bread when we asked for it several times, and our waitress would act like she didn’t see us when we’d raise a hand or say pardon to request service or assistance. It was laughable when finally she decided to say, “Finished?” I finally had to say no because there were several items we didn’t even receive. When she finally showed up again, she rolled her eyes, dropped the butter on the table and walked away. She would consistently check on other tables, but never ours. I hate writing bad reviews. But this was the worst. The food was mediocre, as well. We had no expectations of La Marotte in Pierry, coming here, but we’ll be certain to avoid coming here again.

Had a wonderful meal – the location was a little weird (on an industrial estate) but this didn’t hinder anything once we were there, the space inside and out was lovely and they had done a fantastic job. It was very good value and the kids meals had so much food for the money!!
Only weird thing is they didn’t have any ketchup and one of the staff was almost annoyed I asked!!
All the other staff were lovely and so helpful considering we didn’t speak much French.

The food was delicious they do close in the middle of the day like the other restaurants, although on google maps it doesn’t show that they close so we were not expecting that. They were very nice and welcoming besides that.

We were recomended here by the owner of the house we rented near by and had very good reviews. Odd setting but we’ll worth a go, so much choice and all very French and unique.
Large selection of wines and beers.
Our waiter was full of banter and was helpful when required. Great value for money and they dont automatically add a service charge even though their were 8 of us.
