Went for the first time for dinner. Happened to be valentines day. Ordered drinks. Beer was not cold, had to request ice for michelada and mimosa. My gf Ordered the Chukis nice and requested no octopus. It came with no scallops or crab. If there was crab it was imitation crab. She basically eneded up with shrimp Ceviche. I had the Malquerida roll. Slices were to thick. Tasted good though although they didn’t offer or have wasabi. It was served with a side of ketchup very odd. I had requested more salsa but it never came. It was good for the chips and planned tonuse for the roll. The waitress didn’t come back to offer refills or so we can get more drinks and no salsa. It did get busy after we arrived. But with 10.or so tables service could have been and should be better. Food was good for the most part. But service needs to improve.

Its hard to find a restaurant that hits both in service and in taste, the kind of restaurant that makes you feel at home. That is what La Malquerida has been able to accomplish here. This is the second time ive been at this restaurant and in both occasions it managed to make me feel like I was at home enjoying a meal made with that authentic homemade taste and execution. I highly recommend La Malquerida for your go to authentic Mexican restaurant.

Drove from San Jose to try the food what caught my attention was the beautiful art work on the walls I’m a huge Selena & Jenny Rivera fan so wanted to take cute pics. Tried the ceviche a sushi roll & the asada plate miche & fresh agua fresca and everything was on point including the service! I highly recommend, muy rico todo.

We decided to give this new restaurant a try and let me tell you the mariscos are so bomb, everything we ordered was so delicious , the waitress was so nice and had excellent customer service, the drinks were delicious as well not to mention how aesthetic the place is!! We will definitely be back!!
