Not too bad for Marin, where decent Asian food is hard to find. Upon our last visit, we noticed that the interior is getting a little scruffy with age, and bar counter space could use some decluttering. Food is ok, not great, but will do if you have a craving. I recommend chicken wings for an appetizer, they were crispy and fresh. Pho was so-so Overall, for the value, it’s pretty good, especially if you miss the strong flavors and don’t want to drive to SF for authentic Vietnamese food. Oh, Thai ice tea was yummy, as was Vietnamese coffee.

The food was good, but the lunch gals were not very friendly. Either it was a language barrier, or they did not take a liking to me. I like friendly service people. It can make a difference for if I choose to go back or not.

Food portions a little on the light side, always have been skimpy compared to the competition. Food is passable — a “B or B-.” Small portions.

I went to La Maison to check out their lunch specials the first time. After sitting for about 20 minutes they had not taken our order or even brought my group water (there was 5 of us). After looking around I noticed there were only two employees on the floor (one cashier and a waitress). The cashier kept disappearing and the waitress kept filling bags for online orders. We were on a time crunch so we decided to leave and eat somewhere else.

I had heard good things about this place. I was not disappointed! I had the fish. It was very well seasoned and cooked. Probably some of the county’s healthiest food options.

This place doesn’t know how to prepare Vietnamese dish. Omg their house fried rice is taste less, no flavor. It was cold as a left over stiring wirh cold water. It was disgusting. They don’t even deserve a start. Worst experience ever

The worst Vietnamese pho I have ever had.Tiny amount of noodles, weird taste of meat, MSG loaded water as soup, … I’ll never go back there.

Food was barely edible. Wilted lettuce with rotted spots, appetizer rolls must have been made days ahead, etc.

This is one of the worst Vietnamese restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food is bland, Americanized, watery and shameful. The papaya salad came with no sauce and had lots of iceberg lettuce and no flavor. The spring rolls were almost all noodle, flavorless, with very little shrimp and no pickled veggie. The peanut sauce tasted like yesterday’s store bought generic. The chicken salad lacked a complex flavor profile found at your basic mom pop Vietnamese restaurant. I did not try the pho or bun. They had a bunch of Thai and Chinese dishes on the menu, which is always a warning sign. It’s lame mall food. Don’t waste your money. Fountain water has more flavor….and it’s free. Embarrassing for a restaurant in Marin.

I got takeout: tofu curry with veggies. Excellent! Definitely a go-to restaurant. They can do vegan versions of the vegetarian dishes.
