We love coming to these La Madeleine restaurants. Whenever we’re traveling through Texas, we stop to enjoy the fresh, homemade fare.

Food was good. However, service was slow (I felt ignored for the first few minutes) and there were barely any clean tables. Having dirty plates and leftover food throughout the entire restaurant was just gross! There were not many customers and business were fairly slow, but cleaning tables did not seem to be a priority. It was a huge turnoff.

I have been here twice (dine in) and both times the food and service was excellent! Employees are attentive, and helpful. My order was delivered to my table quickly (maybe within 10 min of ordering). Restaurant was clean and roomy and easy to navigate. Delicious and a variety of desserts! Ladies room was also very clean. Highly recommend!

The girl at the register asked me how I wanted my egg and said scrambled came out runny and asked for scrambled. Told manager not her fault and white lady manager in photo made it worse. Will not return and should have asked for refund.
Only egg on one side of my sandwich and thinnest possible piece of egg. When told manager she just took pieces of one side and put a small piece on other side and said she will charge me for an extra egg if I want on both sides. Ordered a breakfast sandwich but got a BLT instead. Terrible service and food is just as bad!

I met up with a friend in the morning, and on her recommendation, we tried the breakfast menu here. The food wasn’t especially standout, but it was clean and well-prepared. Overall, it’s a good spot for a simple, casual breakfast.

La Madeleine is not everybody’s cup of tea. We like it. The food they offer, French bistro choices, is exactly what I like for lunch. The food always tastes fresh. I especially like the French onion soup and the calabrese sandwich. And if I have time, I will have a nice cup of decaf cappuccino after lunch. What is not to like about that? Location is very convenient if you do your shopping at Lakeline Mall or Hrocery shopping at HEB.

I absolutely loved the vibe of this place! It has a cozy atmosphere with plenty of seating options, beautifully designed interiors, and a serene ambiance that sets it apart from most restaurants where tables are crammed together. With inviting booths, charming corners, and spacious tables, this venue truly offers something for everyone. On to the food, we tried the potato palette, quiche lorraine, veggie omelet, and egg crepe champignon. Everything was cooked to perfection and served piping hot. The French dark roast coffee was neither too strong nor bland. It was perfect. Some of the staff members were a bit curt, but that can be due to the morning rush.

I didn’t really have a good experience here. The staff was too slow to help me out and there was literally no one in line. It was no where close to closing time. I order a ham and cheese croissant and saw hair in my food I had to comment because that kind of stuff grosses me out . I was eating my croissant and noticed a piece of hair stuck to my croissant I immediately stopped eating it and tossed it in the trash. So disgusting. Not sure if I want to come back

This location is really lacking in customer service. I’ve been here multiple times and it’s always been the same. I walk in and there is nobody at the counter. If there is someone there, they do not acknowledge me at all. I waited at the “order here” sign while multiple workers passed me and didn’t even acknowledge my presence. I simple “we’ll be with you soon” goes a long way. I am writing this review as I am eating and they just got my order wrong. I don’t even feel comfortable trying to go up and get them to fix my order because of the complete lack of regard from the staff. It’s a shame because the atmosphere here is nice.
