I had a great experience at La Madeleine! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, but what really stood out was the amazing customer service from Denise. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly taken care of from start to finish. Her positive attitude made our visit even better. Deneen took the time to help me with my order. She’s a wonderful lady. I had the ham and bacon quiche, mushroom soup and a hot chocolate. Everything tasted good. The atmosphere is cozy. The fireplace was on which was perfect for the cold day in Dallas. This is a great place to stop by for a quick lunch or coffee while running errands in the area (close to Central Market on Midway Road).

I went on 11/11 to buy a cake.
I was standing in line for 5 mins, nobody acknowledged me when I walked in, nobody greeted me.
There was a gentleman in line I asked if he had ordered already he said yes and politely moved. I was in-front of the register a Hispanic lady was walking back and forth getting orders together. Not once did she greet me or ask what I needed.
I continued to wait because I understand it gets busy. Until I politely asked if this is where I order or is there another register I need to go to to order because I was genuinely confused as nobody spoke to me. She rudely in Spanish said “aqui se ordena, un momento” “you order here one moment” with an attitude, I simply said oh ok, it was just a question. because like I said nobody acknowledged me and I was waiting in line standing for more than 5 mins now, I wanted to make sure I was standing in the right line. She then proceeded to take calls rather than getting my order when I had been standing there for a while. After a while she finally took my order.
Customer Service was very disappointing and rude.

This place has the WORST service and the food isn’t good enough to make up for it. The last couple of times I’ve ordered here they’ve completely missed an item in my order. The first time I called to ask for help and this offensive woman who had a fake sounding French accent told me it was”wasn’t her problem” that the item was missing and offered nothing for the missing item (not even an apology!!). The second time it happened I didn’t even bother contacting them because they were SO RUDE the last time I tried to get help. I left feedback on their app both times and, despite asking them to contact me about the issue, I still haven’t heard anything about the first time (which was well over a week ago) so I’m not holding my breath that I’ll hear back about the second time. I deleted the app and I’ll never order from this place ever again. Totally not worth it.

I paid $60 for my order. Prime rib and provolone sandwich. The meat tasted bad and there was no au jus. Everything else was ok. Very disappointed. Questionable if I will order from you again. This is from the midway northwest Hwy. location.

Met with a dear friend for a quick chat one fine day. The atmosphere at la Madeleine makes it easy to find a cozy spot and relax.
During this visit I didn’t opt for any eats. I did enjoy two private mimosa carafes. Sometimes you just want a little something to drink.
One thing to note about this location: the comfy cozy nook at the front of the restaurant is lovely. If you’re dining alone, I say grab a seat there. We had a larger group of ladies so we combined tables in the back area.
Overall, a pleasant visit.

Things change. Got my old favorite tomatoe soup with two slices of white.
I miss the open bread and fruit jam bar.
Next time I will try other offerings.

Possibly the most labor-intensive restaurant breakfast I’ve ever eaten. 1st I had to go get the cutlery after they brought out my food. Then I had to go back in to find out if I’d ordered the wrong thing. Came back out to find a bird eating the food and also spilling it all over my table. Took the plate back in to get the thing I actually ordered. Came back out and wiped the table. Went back in to throw away the paper napkins. They brought the right order out. I had to take it back in with me to go get another set of utensils. Crepe is ok. My fault for ordering the wrong thing. A lot bigger than expected, so spouse will get to try it when I get home. Latte served in proper cup; great! Latte tasted a little too much like almond milk and not enough like coffee in my opinion. Got stuck in ladies room stall with no toilet paper. After I handled that situation, had to wait for 1 of 3 employees (the one with the earbud in her ear) to see me at counter in order to let them know. Sadly my 1st, possibly last, la Madeleine experience. If they can’t get it right in an affluent neighborhood within 10 minutes of an international airport… ♀️
