I’m in town this week for KidStrong Owner training and stopped by La Madeleine for a to-go order. I accidentally purchased my meal on my personal card and needed to have it refunded and recharged to my business card—the staff was so helpful and patient in getting that sorted out for me!
My cashier, Douglas, was absolutely great—he was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the process. Even though I didn’t dine in this time, I was so impressed by how neat and clean the entire restaurant was. Most importantly, the food was delicious and packed perfectly. I will definitely be dining in the next time I’m in town!

I often forget to visit La Madeleine but should do better. “LaMad” is a DFW staple, though not what it was (the original was opened next to SMU in the 80s) it is still a solid place to pop in for a quick and healthy bite….then of course to leave with a bag of not so healthy but always yummy goodies from the bakery. These days it is more than even that – they have free wifi so, it is a great alternative coffee shop/work remotely place (complete with far better pastries or French style Hot Chocolate) and they also have really well priced breakfast options. Give it a chance!

I was at this location today. The employee on duty is polite and professional, but the overall cleanliness of the store is disappointing. Several tables are noticeably dirty, despite the fact that there are not many customers inside. This gives the impression that basic standards and oversight are lacking.
After reading other customers’ reviews, I realized this is not an isolated experience. I also reviewed the business responses from the owner and noticed that they generally do not include a clear apology or a concrete plan to address these recurring issues.
I hope this feedback reaches higher-level management or the corporate office so that they can take this matter seriously and implement better oversight and standards for cleanliness and customer experience at this location.

Everything about this restaurant is amazing! The food is always super delicious and made with top-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is so quiet, peaceful, and perfect whether you’re with family, friends, or just relaxing solo. Their service is absolutely excellent — the staff is always friendly, attentive, and fast!
The chicken Alfredo is truly exceptional — rich, flavorful, and a must-try every time we visit. Their sandwiches are also next-level, packed with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor.
Plus, their kids’ meals are fantastic — great portions, healthy options, and our kids love them!

Came in today to look at the pastries. Shelby greeted me and was very friendly and informative. Loved my interaction with her. Will definitely be back and tell my friends and family to visit this location. Definitely ask for Shelby when you visit.

I went to Frisco with my partner for a game and we stop by La Madeleine because we were craving some coffee and it was not deceiving. The coffee was good. I got an iced caramel latte and an Egg Mushroom crepe. That was delicious tasted like pizza. I loved it.

The young lady taking my order was very patient and kind, as I hadn’t been to this place in many years. The food was great, coffee was good and I even sat by the fire and it wasn’t too hot, even in summer. There’s something about reading your book by the fire while you eat in this atmosphere that just takes the stress of life away.

Visited with my mom. We’ve always loved and appreciated how fresh and tasty the chicken salad croissant is. Haven’t came in years but did feel that the size of the croissant sandwich was smaller than before. I love their tomato soup!!! Pesto chicken pasta was yummy and the sauce was very good. Chicken cordon bleu pasta was mediocre. The cashier was extremely sweet and welcoming!!

I completely walked out and forgot my togo part of my order and called the restaurant. Will by the way is a shooting star in person but even better customer service on the phone. He went above and beyond for something that was on me. He immediately found my order and refunded the part I left there. He was definitely unforgettable and I wanted him to know he made my day just by being so kind. Will, the world needs more humanity like you.
