Got there after lunch (3:30 pm) ordered the special “Vaca Frita” with white rice and beans. The meat was hot, the rice was super hot (microwaved) and the black beans was ice cold. When done I ordered a cafe and it was super bitter and barely drinkable.

Went to this breakfast spot while waiting for my car to get serviced at Toyota. 0.1 mi away within walking distance. The place was very clean and servers were incredible. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced for Miami. Plus the portions were quite big, and I’m a large man. Very happy with the service and food.

Haven’t had café con Leche like that in a long time along with some good croquettas. Place was conveniently across the street from my best western hotel, and it’s open from 7am til 10 or 11. Sucks it’s closed on Sunday, but even the mailman gets a day off. Will be back to try other cuban specialties!

We stayed at the Best Western across the street, and while we were a bit skeptical because the exterior of the building is a bit misleading, the restaurant and service were on point. It’s the definition of a hole-in-the-wall but the food was great and the service spectacular.

Coworker ate here the other day and recommended it to me. I ordered the bistec a la palomilla with rice, beans, tostones and a drink. The tostones brought a yummy citrus garlic sauce and for my drink they delivered an extra cup with ice. Service was great and so was the food. Highly recommend this place, great food and prices are very good.
