Great spot for date night! We went on a Sunday night, so it was busy but not crowded. The ambiance was beautiful! It was the perfect place to dine out and end the weekend. The food was absolutely delicious! The anniversary plate had a little bit of everything to taste and it really hit the spot. Also, the La Jefa margarita was soo good and very strong too 🙂

Looking for a nice place to have brunch after church or on a sunny Sunday the La Loma in DTC was really good. Our server, was amazing and very attentive- I wish I remembered his name. The food is much different than the location in Castle Rock – this location more friendly and really pretty!
I ordered the chicken nachos were delicious! Chicken well done with black beans was so much better than refried beans!!

La Loma just opened recently in the DTC area.
A beautiful restaurant with amazing brick work throughout the entire building.
The food is just as good as the original restaurant back in the day. The drink are also just as good!
The staff is very attentive and will take care of you.
The high ceilings inside make it very easy to talk to your guests at your table.
Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

First time trying La Loma after hearing steady praise from just about everyone. The atmosphere absolutely delivers. It’s beautifully designed, warm without being overdone, and even when it’s busy the seating still feels comfortable. The photo of Abuela near the front adds heart. And then there’s the hidden Jesus near the front doors. Yes, I noticed. Yes, I appreciated it. Subtle, unexpected, and somehow divinely placed.
The staff was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely dialed in. The chips and salsa were strong right out of the gate. The brisket flautas were excellent. Crispy, rich, and packed with flavor.
The fish tacos struggled a bit. Not bad, just not heavenly (hence the 4 star rating). They leaned a bit dry, and the mango in the mango salsa needed a little more ripeness to truly ascend. I am optimistic about next time! The rice, however, was fantastic. Fluffy and deeply flavorful; I have not had rice quite like that before.
Overall, La Loma is absolutely worth a visit.

Amazing food and atmosphere. The mini chile rellenos are a MUST HAVE! As great as the food was, the attention and service we received from Ashley was what made the evening special.

Was able to join the La Loma team for their soft opening. It wasn’t intended that way but it worked. It was a wonderful experience. Food came out quickly and it was quality food. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup, the tequila shrimp, and the mud pie. It was all delicious and had an authentic taste (especially the rice). The drinks were delicious and Wes (the bartender) was very attentive and willing to to customize drink order to provide an exceptional experience. Service was quick and everyone was respectful in an ambience that reminded me of home —Mexico.

Hate having to do this but this location of La Loma just isn’t good. I used to go to the original location on 26th and Bryant a decade ago and the food was always amazing.
Unfortunately the quality as they’ve expanded has plummeted. The green chile and beans is not the same, and after I brought the rest of my food home I was unpleasantly surprised to bite into a large piece of plastic that was in my beans when I heated the food up the next day. That sucks because it makes me believe that their beans aren’t homemade anymore. Anyway, this location is really nice inside and the service was great. But yeah the food – not good.

La Loma is easily one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The vibe is warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly and on it without rushing us. It felt like the kind of place that has regulars for a reason.
Their salsa is seriously so good. Fresh, bright, and the perfect amount of heat. It is the kind of salsa where you keep saying one more chip and then the basket is suddenly empty.
The green chile was the standout for me. It has that rich, slow-cooked flavor and just the right kick. It tastes homemade and it makes everything better. I could honestly put it on anything.
We also got the fajitas and they were excellent. Came out sizzling, big portions, and everything tasted fresh. The meat was tender and well seasoned, and the peppers and onions had great flavor too. Nothing was soggy or bland, just really solid all around.
If you are looking for a place that consistently delivers great Mexican food, La Loma is it. We left happy and already talking about what we want to order next time.

Everything about our visit was wonderful. We tried the great recommendations from our wait staff. We arrived early for our reservation and were seated right away. First time visiting and had a great time!
