They are the sweetest workers I have ever come across. They are always so friendly and the food always tastes so good. I’ve never been somewhere two times in a roll and the food taste good every time. Like I said they are so sweet and it’s amazing food for a decent price. They are so friendly and actually show they care and interact with their customers.

Staff was friendly. Bathrooms are clean and smell nice. Chips were warm. Didn’t ask what my son wanted to drink, and didn’t bring him a drink. Food was okay, nothing tasted like it was salted and was kind of bland for a Mexican place in our opinion. Overall, it was still good. (Hostess that asked what we wanted to drink, didn’t even ask for a drink for my son.)**

Update Returned 02-25-2025. Upon entering employees greated me. I ordered a chicken Chimichanga with refried beans & rice. Also topped with Sour cream & Pico. Such Good food. Friendly employees. Clean restaurant. Beautiful hand painted decor on the walls an boothes. An before leaving I ordered the “fried ice cream.” I will definitely be back there again.Even if it’s just to get they dessert.

You can find a Mexican restaurant pretty much anywhere you go. But if you want really good food, then you need to get to Gatos. These people know how to do food right! And they treat customers like family. They shake hands and hug the regulars. The street tacos have corn tortillas that are put on the grill for a bit of added texture and flavor. They have huevos rancheros and no one else is serving that up.

Owned and operated by down-to-earth folks. You can tell they have a passion for authentic and delicious food. Also, very clean and tidy. Will be going there for Taco Tuesdays again and again. P.S. Try the Dr. D tacos!

These are the best tacos you can get! I crave Gatos, and go once a week. It is operated by the owners, who care deeply for their quality and their customers, and show that care every day. You wont find a better spot for authentic Mexican food for hundreds of miles in any direction. If you haven’t tried Gatos you are missing out!
