The food was a step above many other local Mexican restaurants. I had carne asada and my buddy had enchiladas. The sauce on the enchiladas was very good and the steak was super tender. Great presentation also. My buddy was really loving the Mexican coleslaw that was complimentary along with chips and salsa. The tamarindo agua fresca was very good too.

We really like this Mexican restaurant, and we eat at many Mexican restaurants. We’ve eaten here four times so far, but we will be regulars. The experience has been consistent, very good overall, food quality/taste/portion size, service, restaurant atmosphere, and it’s fairly priced. We generally get the beef fajitas. Today we paired the beef fajitas with margaritas, how could you go wrong with this combo! One beef fajita order feeds us both (my wife and I), with some left over to take home to warm-up later, so they don’t skimp on the portion size for sure. They serve complimentary tortilla chips and salsa which is fairly standard these days, and we certainly enjoy them. What is slightly out of the ordinary is that they serve three salsas, the standard red salsa, a green salsa, and one based on coleslaw, we like all three a lot.

If you’re going there at night, call them beforehand to check their schedule. I drove 30 minutes only to find they were closing an hour early because business was slow.

A great and authentic Mexican restaurant. This new open place was clean and decorated in Mexican style with large screens and fast WiFi. Their service was friendly and fast. They served authentic chips and salsa, various sauces, and side salad for free. I ordered three hard shell tacos with bean and rice. The taco meat tasted juicy and tender with fresh vegetables and cheese. I liked the beef tongue taco the most. Shrimp and Al pastor were also great.

I picked up dinner tonight and am so impressed with La Loma Restaurant in Upper Arlington. I lived in San Diego for 8 years and this is the best Mexican food I’ve had since moving here. Our food was handed to me right away in sturdy bags. The food was hot! The employees were welcoming and friendly. I looked at how they redecorated and again was impressed. I plan on eating in the restaurant next time! Also, the portions are generous!

La Loma is a cut above the big chain Mexican restaurants.
The staff was so friendly and attentive. They truly made our celebration special by making a big fuss over the birthday person and treating us to a delicious free dessert.
The attention to detail really stood out.
We’re so glad to have this new restaurant in the neighborhood and are happy to support a local business. We will definitely be back!

The service was absolutely amazing and so was the food. I got one of their burritos and it literally felt like Heaven had touched my tongue. My husband got a sandwich and that was also really good too 10 out of 10 highly recommend you coming here. They also have free refills on certain drinks like their pop and their flavored milks.

They passed out complimentary desserts to the moms for Mother’s Day today and it was the sweetest touch… thoughtful details like this make you want to come back! The staff is very nice and I love that they give you a variety of salsas at the table (the verde salsa is amazing!)

Tried La Loma today for the first time and I was very pleased. The staff was so kind and attentive, the dining room was clean and nicely decorated, and the food was delicious. I got the vegetarian fajitas and they were so good! I’ll definitely be back.
