Chips were wonderful. Did not have a tomato based low heat salsa. All sauce was way to hot for most of us. Loved the food but sauce was to hot. Ordered separate checks but rang up as one. Suspect clerk did not speak english very well. Price was very reasonable.

We went to have lunch on a slow Monday. Asked for the bistek rancher but they said they had run out of ranchero sauce. There were only an handful of patrons. Then the food took longer than usual even though it wasn’t busy. And finally got our food but the taste was off somehow.
I hope they were just having a not so good day. Doesn’t make you want to come back and spend $50 for 2 with this outcome.
The gentleman attending to use was friendly.

We tried this place for breakfast on a Monday morning. Tortillas are freshly made to order. I had breakfast tacos, they were really good. We also tried the machacado con huevos, it was also really good. Food portions are big. Coffee was hot and fresh.

The huevos rancheros here are okay, for $8.99 you get 3 eggs, potatoes, refried beans and bacon.
The eggs were perfectly cooked over medium, the salsa for the eggs is good, the refried beans in my last visit were old, the bacon was just okay , the potatoes didn’t have a great taste to them as they are soggy, and have no flavor.
While you wait they bring you chips and hot salsa(as in warm salsa).
The coffee here is hot and good tasting.
Overall, in my recent visits not much has been improved and the food is just okay, the quality has definitely dropped.

Update: 02/09/2020
Been consistently goong here once a week for over two years…withing the last couple months the portion sizes and quality of food has gone down. Last time we had fajitas the food didnt even cover the pan and was burnt , the guacamole was almost liquefied . Waitstaff was great as usual.

We had a great time here for a late Sunday breakfast. Service was very fast and friendly. I had the chilaquiles con pollo. My husband had the chicharrones en salsa verde. Over easy eggs were perfect on both plates. Everything was delicious. We asked for extra flour tortillas and they were fresh and piping hot. Portions are generous so I took a to-go box… I even took extra chips from the chips & salsa because they were really good, too 🙂

The tortillas were really good. The restaurant felt musky, the chicken tlapeno was okay. It was extremely greasy and came as pictured. A total mess all over both dishes. The chorizo and queso was good with flour tortillas. That dish I expected it to be greasy so there was no biggy, but I have never had greasy tlapeno soup served like that. There was also no chile in it so it is not like as advertised. The service was okay. The place was very short staffed but everyone tried the best that they could. Prices were fair. Tea is not freshly brewed but it doesn’t taste too bad. I might go back to try their breakfast because I really liked the tortillas. Overall 3 out of 5.

Absolutely worth it. Tried it out with some family earlier today. Place was calm, and food was absolutely wonderful! Definitely worth going out to eat at. Service was excellent and the orange salsa is delicious

Reasonably priced and the food is delicious. Would I return? Yes. There’s still much food to try and I really like their complimentary salsa. The food portions are enough for two people or for someone who’s really hungry. Las tortillas are perfectly handmade and delicious. I ordered the barbacoa plate.
