I’d give zero stars if I could, place was dirty in appearance, we waited an hour to get our food, I ordered mine with no onions apparently that’s code for extra onions, my wife had chicken fajitas, which was chicken on a bed of onions, no other vegetables, and no tortillas. Topped off with a couple glasses of warm water, when I said something to the staff they ignored me, so I said it again thinking they may not have heard me, and we were asked to leave. I would recommend taco John’s over this place any day. They offered no discount or even an apology, our terrible experience cost us over $60

Weekends are super busy so expect to wait. If you sit near the windows, it will be a bit warmer. The food was great. Definitely need more staff but the ones that were there were busting their butt

I would sincerely like to thank La Joya for the hospitality and a tasty dinner. We went out, for what we expected to be just a dinner for my daughter Liberty’s 17th birthday. La Joya and our waitress Megan. Went above and beyond since we where the last family dining that evening. We where able to enjoy a cake, sing happy birthday. Megan even handed my kids the tablet, that controls the music. Allowing them to pick there own music.

We went with our friends for lunch, during our visit in downtown Wylie, we all love Mexican style food, and we’ve been to many different places over the years! This one is by far one with the best tasting authentic food! Tender juicy chicken, fresh ingredients, refried beans and rice that you actually want to eat! Our server was wonderful too! If you’ve been wanting some authentic great food La Joya Mexican Cocina should be on your list!

This place has great food, I even like it better than Frankie’s and it’smuch cheaper! The only drawback is the restaurant definitely needs remodeling. The restaurant is very clean but looks dirty because of the lighting and choices of paint on the walls and floor.

Wonderful!! Full of flavor!! We loved everything – hot sauce, fresh chips, Gloria plate (chicken and cheese enchiladas) and the Brunch Enchiladas (cheese or beef enchiladas with 2 fried eggs on top). We will be back for sure….
