I got the lunch special from the steam table for $10. They have a ton of Puerto Rican itmes you can order fresh, and the steam table had just a few options to choose from, but enough for me to get full. It came with a rice and a meat (pork) and the fried plantains (maduros), and I added another meat and beans.

I just discovered this place on W. Colonial Dr. on Road 50 in Claremont absolutely fantastic. Food was spectacular very well. Seasoned true Puerto Rican flavor. The place was cozy simple the service was absolutely excellent OK and the price even though I believe was a little bit on the on the expensive side the truth of the matter is that when you come and look at it and look at how much you get and what you get it’s a very fair price. They have entertainment on Fridays. They have a lot of activities in the restaurant, so it’s an amazing gathering place for after work or having a quick lunch with friends or if you want to enjoy Puerto Rican food with a friend or family absolutely perfect.

1st visit ( won’t be the last ) I was the first client to walk in today. I ordered an omelet with Swiss cheese and bacon, the waiter asked me if I wanted the bacon in the omelet or on the side everything was really good, the flavors the atmosphere and the prices are very reasonable. I will cisit again but with my family ♥️ Everything inside the restaurant made me feel like if I was in my beautiful Island Puerto Rico. I recommend it % the server was very humble and friendly.

At the first when we came in, we saw the steam table we left, and we stared to look for another place to go because we do not like the food already made, we like to order and eat everything fresh. Then I started to see the menu in my phone and I saw the the have entrees, so I told my husband lest go in again. I was ashamed to go back in but now I’m so glad we did. We asked sorullitos de maíz, and my husband had Mofongo with pork, and me, I had the Jibarita with arroz mamposteao OMG everything was so so but so delicious, the service was great great and again the food oh my LORDD forget about the Cillantrillo restaurant this was 10,000 times BETTER and we only spend $60. The service was excellent but the food wasn’t to my expectations. I thought asking for chicken steak with onions would have come out grilled with lots of onions. Instead it is served in a bowl like soup and the chicken had no color. Certain foods were not able to be cooked and food felt like they just had to make anything. I was just not that impressed.

Had the pleasure of dining at La Jibarita today. I must say it was a 10/10!!!! Food, service, and ambience was amazing. Our server, Anny Was a complete gem!
