Lovely spot in Union Market. A little taste of a French bistro. The baguette sandwich was delicious. The blue cheese was divine. The side options included salad, chips or tomato soup. Do yourself a favor and try the tomato soup. You will thank me later!

Stopped in for a light lunch and for my first time here it was a great experience. Sophia and Jess were both incredibly nice. Not to mention the grilled cheese was great and the drink was just right. I will be back to try their other sandwiches!

The place is a bit small but the desserts are SUPERB! I am a huge chocolate lover but also love a good fruity treat. I’m not a big cheesecake person, but I will say that these desserts there changed my mind!
The service provided by the bartender Keith was great. As a solo lady dinner, I appreciate the balance between convo and being left alone. lol

Can’t recommend La Jambe enough! Ana the owner is simply delightful and Keith the bartender is great. They have a huge and delicious range of wine and the cheese boards are some of the best in DC. Love that it’s a small spot and feels very welcoming. Definitely stop here for a drink and some bites next time you’re at Union Market.

This small dining area has such delicious charcuterie boards. We shared a large board which was $52 for the board. You get 2 meats and 3 cheeses with strawberries, grapes and other things added around. Everything about it was so good, would I return that is a yes for me! 10/10 they also have the boards to go if you ever wanna purchase for events for larger sizes they notified you will have to place order online on website. Are you a wine drinker they have happy hour for you they do not have sweet wine just fyi but check it out.

Love this spot in union market! The folks that work there seem to really love what they do…every charcuterie board I’ve ever had there is like a work of art! Definitely cute and bougie…fun for a date night! Union market is pretty chill, but this place feels fancier. I will keep coming back!

It’s about 230pm on a Saturday afternoon. I was looking for a good lunch at union market when I walked passed La Jambe, like I’d walked passed it many times before. But this time my curiosity took over and I decided to try it out. The spot looks boujee, but the bartender/employee made me feel right at home. Very polite, professional and showed hospitality. Off to a great start. I had a few questions since it was my and the employee answered them all, even had a few suggestions which I could very helpful. I had the Tuscan grilled cheese with chips, with a beer. The sandwich was beyond delicious. Kutos to the chef lol. It might just be a grilled cheese sandwich but boy was it good. The immaculate service was the icing on the cake. I will definitely be back. Thank La Jamba for the great time.

I have always had reliably good experiences here – I get a sandwich or some cheese every time, can’t speak to anything else. The food is tasty and I find the sandwich price worth it for a grilled cheese when I get fantastic tomato soup with it. Will be back regularly.

A couple of colleagues and I got together at Union Market – we decided on La Jamba as the cheese selection was excellent. We ordered two medium boards… one cheese only and the other with cheese and a selection of charcuterie. Plus a couple of bottles of well balanced red wines, tasty Pinot Noir and a light Beaujolais. The cheese selections were some of the best… all served with fresh baguette – a relaxed atmosphere overall. A great place to sit at the bar and enjoy board of charcuterie and cheese! I must visit when at Union Market.
I’ll be back for some fresh slices mortadella for sandwiches at home!
