We were really excited to try this. Highly recommended burger joint, and our experience did not disappoint! All the food was really delicious. Atmosphere is fun and cozy. Especially loved our waitress Karen I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. We love everything about it!

The food was delicious. The French onion soup is one of my favorites I’ve ever had and I eat French onion soup at every restaurant I go too! the fried chicken sandwich was soo good too. The waitress was soo nice and the hostess a young gentleman was super friendly too. Definitely try this place out. If we lived anywhere near here we would be regulars.

If you want a burger…. GO HERE! They have won best burger in the state the last 3 years and 4 other times in the last 10. The burgers are big and good meat. There are some very interesting ones. I had one with strips of steak on top and horse radish. Delicious. The pretzel appetizer was big and super soft. Get the cheese with it. The sweet potato fries were excellent. The tots were a disappointment. Service was very good. The place is nothing special. My one disappointment was my burger was medium rare instead of rare

Delicious. State wide”best burger” winner over and over again for a reason. Ashamed to say I just had my first burger here recently. It was perfectly cooked, large and so tasty. Shoe-string fries were excellent as well. Full bar.

Haven’t been here in a while because I dont work downtown as much. Used to be one of my favorite spot. This time was different. The service was fine. But the food was completely different. Fries were not the same, they were more like thin mcdonalds fries. My buffalo wrap taste way different and no pickle, the pickle really sets it off. Not sure what happened but I hope they bring it back to the way it used to be.

Ale ‘n’ Angus Pub does live up to the hype! It’s a chill space, packed wall to wall with people enjoying their meals. I was impressed with how relatively quiet it still was even with a packed house and I attribute this to not having loud music playing for everyone to compete with.

We were seated promptly and met our server shortly after. The server asked if we wanted wings out first and we did! They came out quickly and shortly after finishing the wings it was only a few minutes and our meals followed.

The taste, I came for the burgers and loved my Hot and Smokey, but the Citrus Chipotle Wings won my heart. They were made to perfection and it was a sauce combination I’ve never tried and if I ever see it again I won’t say no! I also added the onion rings to my meal and they were fantastic as well. My wife got a salad and it was fresh, large and satisfying, she was very happy with her meal as well.

The only disappointment came when we appeared to be abandoned at our table. Our server became or simply just is the bartender and another server who was walking by was taking our finished dishes. We waited for the check for awhile because it’s a busy place but unfortunately it wasn’t until we flagged down the lovely server who was cleaning up after us that we got our bill. She took payment immediately from us as we could tell she knew what was going on and we also saw her being a super hero out there so a huge shout out to that lovely woman!

In conclusion, great food, great setting, kind staff, and you may need to be assertive to get your bill. An easy recommendation and we look forward to trying so much more on their menu.

All I can say is wow , the fries were good and the sandwich is amazing. Soft, the bread is perfect crisp to softness ratio , the book on the chicken is perfect . I’m beyond satisfied.

I’ve been waiting to try the burgers here for awhile after hearing about them online. I asked for medium well and the 2 people with me asked for well done since restaurants tend to give you a little under what you ask for. The fries were good, unfortunately the burger I got was well done and very charred on both sides and it was all I could taste… for $17 a burger plus tax and supposed to be the best around I was very disappointed. Hope to try again and have a better experience.

Food and service was amazing. We went before the Halestorm concert so it was definitely busy but the service was impeccable. My sandwich was fantastic.

I would suggest making a reservation, especially if you go before an event on the Oncenter/War Memorial.
