This restaurant was highly recommended by a lovely woman we met at the Desert Museum, and it turned out to be such a great find. It’s a lively little spot full of character. We arrived late, but they seated us right away. Even though they had run out of a few items after a busy day, the dishes we ordered did not disappoint.
Our server, Abraham, was an absolute gem. He shared a bit of his life story, and as a mother, it truly touched my heart. He’s an impressive young man who makes the dining experience feel even more personal. The food itself was delicious, comforting and familiar, like enjoying a homemade meal at your aunt’s house. We even managed to snag a flan right before the kitchen closed, and it was wonderful.

Lovely outdoor garden seating with lights and plants. It seemed like a neighborhood place where people see friends. Service was friendly, fast and they have good teamwork but we had to request an itemized table bill before paying. Chicken chimichanga with mole sauce was very good. The combination plate of chicken enchilada, chili relleno and taco was okay. The salsa was unimpressive and the chips were average.

Absolutely delicious! We loved eating authentic Sonoran Mexican Food. They have a lovely outdoor patio. I had a Tarascan Taco with Carne Seca filling and a chicken tamale.
My kids had a bean and cheese burro and a chicken quesadilla. They are more here than at any restaurant on this vacation! The staff was so friendly.
I highly recommend this restaurant!!

I had the chicken mole and my husband had the red chile beef dish. Both were excellent. Service was fantastic! We will be back for sure!

Wow 1st time here, and will return for sure. Mind you we had 12 in our party, the were super friendly and were super accommodating. The sat us promptly and we had several servers and bussers as well as other staff help us. Fresh chips and salsa to start which were homemade. We were given carafe of water and soda for our group, as well as replenished throughout the meal. For food, must try Indian fry tacos, holy cow they were delicious, as well as the tacos, green chili, enchiladas. Everything was amazing, we did wait a little but great food is worth the wait. And it was definitely worth the wait, everything came out fresh and hot, which is rare for large parties. So if your in the downtown area they are located on stone between 6th and speedway. Well worth the trip. Small restaurant but big on flavors. Staff super nice, down home Mexican food. Outdoor seating, perfect for couples or families. Just like Nana made. Try it out Tucson….

Simple traditional Southwest atmosphere. Best Mole sauce I have had, not a big fan of mole sauce but staff recommended it and it was so different and good compared to what I have in the States and Mexico.
They also provide a great service to the local community.

the mole is hands down my favorite mole i’ve had in the US! i’ve lived all throughout the south west and this is my favorite i’ve found. it’s the perfect amount of chocolate, nutty and spicy.
every time my husband and i visit here he always gets the daily special and the meal is perfect. we’ve eaten almost every daily special they have to offer.
the staff is the most wonderful group of people!! they are so welcoming, warm and personable. they have great knowledge of the menu and make great recommendations.
i recommended the restaurant to all my friends and family when they are visiting the tucson area. you must 100% make a stop and get some quality home cooking!

Definitely recommend! Today was our first time visiting this restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and prompt. The food was delicious! I had a bean and rice burrito, and it was one of the best burritos I’ve ever had. If the burrito was that good, I can’t wait to try the other food. The chips and salsa were also a hit. 10/10

Oooooooohweeeeeee I think I’ve died and gone to food heaven . This restaurant has everything I look for in a favorite. Ambiance , great service , local , low key , good vegan menu , vibes , indoor & outdoor and most of all fantastic food. Indita delivers up a so many mouth watering options you’ll have trouble deciding. Make sure you try the guac , It’s the best I’ve had in town so far! Almost everything can be made vegan on the menu . The beans aren’t cooked in lard & they don’t use chicken bouillon.
