Reviews
We ordered at the counter, picked our table, and even though the food took a little while, it was worth the wait. The staff was super friendly, checking on us multiple times and making sure we enjoyed our tea before we left.
The location is convenient plenty of parking in the back, easy access off a busy exit street, and ideal for travelers, truckers, or anyone with larger vehicles. The restaurant itself was very clean, with Indian and Punjabi music on the screens and TVs playing Bollywood hits and news.
Overall, an amazing experience. Friendly staff, clean environment, delicious food. This will definitely be one of our go-to spots whenever we’re passing through. Easily a 10/10!
Also they have a drive thru window but the sign reads they are not a fast food restaurant so it can take some time.
We started with the Samosas, and they were perfection: crispy golden pastry on the outside, packed with a flavorful, spiced potato filling that had just the right kick. Paired with the chutneys, they disappeared in minutes!
For mains, the Goat Achari was a standout—tender, succulent goat meat simmered in a tangy, pickle-spiced masala that had layers of flavor (mustard seeds, fenugreek, and that signature achari tang). It was rich without being heavy, and every bite was addictive.
The Lamb Curry was equally fantastic—melt-in-your-mouth lamb in a deeply aromatic, spiced gravy that coated the rice beautifully. You can tell they use quality meat and take time building the flavors.
We rounded out the meal with Chicken Biryani, and it did not disappoint. Fragrant basmati rice layered with tender, marinated chicken, saffron, and warm spices—each spoonful was a burst of aroma and taste. The portion was huge, and it reheated perfectly the next day.
Service was warm and attentive, the restaurant was spotless and welcoming, and the value for money is unbeatable for food this good. If you’re craving real, home-style Indian cuisine in the Santa Clarita/Castaic area, do yourself a favor and come here—you won’t be disappointed!
Highly recommend—will definitely be back for more. Hands down one of the best Indian spots around!
Super friendly, super clean, super yum and all food served steaming hot!!!
Owner is super kind as well.
No wonder this place is 4.9 stars 🙂
Recommend if you are craving Indian!
Samosas were gooooood !!
The portion of food was very big. (We took more than 50% to go).
The dessert was rice pudding and it was superb as well.
I understand that this is mostly targeted for to-go customers, so I recommend them focus a bit on the dine-in customer as well (i.e. plates, serving style, etc).
Overall, totally recommended.
A special shoutout to our server, Binder, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. His service really elevated our dining experience.
Highly recommend this place if you’re craving good Indian food in LA. Will definitely be coming back!
We were driving from LA to the Bay Area and got stuck on I-5 due to construction/an accident. While at a complete standstill, we noticed this Indian restaurant right off the freeway and decided to exit for lunch — and we’re so glad we did.
The Google rating (4.9 with 1,000+ reviews) honestly felt too good to be true, but this place absolutely lived up to it. The restaurant is very spacious, clean, and well maintained. The restrooms were spotless — which is rare and much appreciated for a highway stop.
They even offered complimentary Indian tea, which was incredibly comforting after a long, slow, and frustrating drive. The food was another highlight — both veg and non-veg dishes were delicious, fresh, and generously portioned. The quantity was impressive; I could barely finish 30% of my meal.
Everything about the experience felt thoughtful and welcoming. We left feeling relaxed, well-fed, and genuinely happy we stopped here. This is now officially a must-stop for us whenever we drive this route again.
Highly recommend!
