I just moved from Thornton to Golden and this is my new favorite restaurant. It’s not just the food, which on its own is incredibly good. The staff is amazing. They have created a warm atmosphere with very friendly service. The menu is diverse, interesting, well prepared and with a variety of sauces.

SO good. After having just spent time in Mexico, La Huacha hits the nail on the head with authenticity (that doesn’t make me an expert, obviously, but I like to think I’m a good judge of food quality).
The pork in the pastor tacos was perfectly seasoned, and we loved the quesa birria tacos as well. Two for one margs on a Monday was the cherry on top.
The service was fast, and our waitress was so nice. We’ll absolutely be back.

I had some family come to town from South Dakota and I asked my cousin if he would like to go get a nice steak or some good Mexican Food and thankfully he chose Mexican, since he said its non exsistent in SD. Mind you my cousin is originally from SoCal and his wife is from Northern California and know good Mexican. The pressure was on to find real good Mexican food near his hotel and thank God I chose La Huacha which used to operate a taco truck for years and now have their own place. The hardest part with going to Mexican restaurants with my wife unfortuately, is that she is alergic to onions and peppers and almost everything has or is marinated in onions and peppers. Our server brought out the kitchen manager and she spent time with my wife to find out what she likes and what she CAN and CAN’T have. My wife said that was the best meal she has had at any Mexican restaurant since living in Colorado for the past 16 years. The rest of the meals were amazing, especially the shrimp and the al pastor tacos. One of the plates was the chicken enchiladas. Aweome bar and margartias as well. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! The attenction given to us was amazing!

Went here for tacos last night and it wad delicious! They provided free chips and salsa (has a bit of a kick, lots of fresh veggies and was amazing). We got a house marg with salt which was tasty, but didnt feel like there was much booze in them. Shrimp tacos were great and I love that you can get flour or corn tortillas! They have a patio with like 6 or so tables and good shade as well.

Everything coming out of the kitchen is fresh and perfectly seasoned. The chips, salsa and tortillas may not be the most important part of the meal, but the freshness and flavor of them says everything about the quality in the kitchen. It is my current favorite restaurant. Service is friendly and attentive, portions are generous and prices very reasonable. One can have an adult drink here without breaking the bank.

Loved trying this new place in town! Service was great- they gave great recommendations and were very accommodating (we made modifications to the dishes). Huge portions at super affordable price! Margaritas are 2 for 1 on Monday nights too.

Taco Tuesday was a hit here. Place was jumping for $2 tacos. Happy hour til 7 was a super bonus! Margaritas were on point. Service at the bar was spectacular! 10/10 recommend!
