Best fritanga food in all of Miami Lakes. Been coming here for over 15 years and still the BEST!!!! I know I’m not the only one who raves about their “carne asada” and delicious soups. They have a great variety of options and they’re all deliciously home cooked

You cannot have a conversation if you go afternoon. Food is definitely excellent but the people seems to rushing all the times..why they rush for such small place. Some of the young girls are very friendly but the rest is like they wanna dictate what is goes
Overall, is about time for the to improve their location, too small.

Horrible place. Called ahead to place an order for pickup, but when I arrived, I had to wait 30 minutes for my food to be ready. The employees were a mess, disorganized, and rude. A couple of people waited in line to order at the bar, even they were visibly frustrated at what a mess it all was. Many of them were heard complaining. When my food was finally ready, and I cut into my Carne Asada, I see that it is undercooked. The rice was mushy and soft as well, also undercooked. Horrible. It took so long to get the food and still it wasn’t even properly cooked. Why is it that I called ahead for a takeout order just to have to wait the same amount of time as everyone else ordering in person? Makes no sense. Why did we wait 30+ mins for the food and somehow it was still undercooked? Crazy. If I could give 0 stars, I would because the staff being incredibly rude to everyone waiting just topped it all off.

The food is good, but servers are rude, they have a mess and take long serving sometimes just to talk with themselves or ignore the customers. They never give you a detailed receipt, I’ve already caught them overcharging 2 times, I won’t wait for the third. When they know someone or have friends they serve them huge plates, but otherwise portions have decreased while prices have increased. I refuse to go here anymore and will drive further for other places. Places like these take advantage because it’s the only fritanga around, but if you can go somewhere else, you’ll be better off.

This is not the first time the food I buy from there comes out bad. The Nacatamal was dry and salty, but most of all DRY. NOT REAL NICARAGUAN FLAVOR. AND OVER PRICED. Don’t recommend this place at all. And the carne asada is not churrasco. It’s some type of flat meat. EXPENSIVE PLACE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Friday at about 1pm looking for lunch. This restaurant is in a strip center with Publix, Bank of America & a lot of shops, plenty of parking. It’s Nicaraguan focused but is similar to other central American cuisines. They have a large steam table to make your selection. Plenty of tables but no waitress service. I went for a pork leg stew with yucca & black beans. Large portion, tender in a very nice savory sauce. For $10.99 a very good deal! Place was clean with prompt service from the ladies serving the steam table!

This was one of the most amazing places to eat at years ago. However, the quality in food has down graded quite a bit and their prices have significantly increased. I honestly don’t even mind paying the increase but their service has to be the worst i’ve ever encountered at any establishment.

All the serververs sit around and wait to see who will take the next customer, even though the line is out the door of people waiting to be attended. When you ask them a question about the food they seem to get very bothered. Just on a plate for my husband and a plate for me cost more than a 1/2 days pay for them, so I honestly don’t understand the need for the rudeness.

If it was just one of the servers I understand but all of them! I refuse to pay for bad service, and especially not at these prices.

New staff needed ASAP

Absolutely worst place to consume anything “authentic” from Nicaragua.
Always disappointing to get food from here. I’m never coming back again.
