My small family ordered a ham dinner with all the sides and a pumpkin pie for Christmas. Everything was delicious and there was plenty to go around plus leftovers for all. I’ve not been to Bob Evans since I was in high school and I would have to say I do feel that the portions should be bigger. I got fish and chips and donuts with a cream cheese dipping sauce. The donuts were a little hard but still taste good the best thing about this place was my waitress named Lyric. She had really good energy and was very prompt if I come back I will make sure to ask for her

This was my first time coming here and it was such a great experience! Our server Jennifer was so amazing and took such great care of us. She was honestly one of the best servers I have had at a restaurant in a long time. The ONLY slight issue was the food portion but it was not anything horrible. The portion size was smaller than I thought it would be or what the pictures on the menu show. But I can say I will definitely be going back because of the hospitality from every employee there a the food was delicious. Also the price is incredibly fair. My total for the meals in the picture was $32.82

So I’m making a public service announcement! DON’T ORDER A DINNER FROM BOB EVANS ! We ordered the Holiday Family Meal
That was supposed to serve 6! Pictured is how many potatoes we received, I’m not sure it would serve 2 people ! That is my standard pot I would make my mashed potatoes in … the Turkey wasn’t the best it was stuck to the dressing and it was from a turkey roll or something ( I ended up feeding it to my dogs)
I did call up to the store to make sure we got the right dinner that was supposed to feed 6! They tried telling me it was only for 3-4 people and I said well it states on your website it will feed 6! She then hung up on me !!! Bob Evans on Hill Rd. Grand Blanc
I have since called the corporate number 4 times which takes you to India or somewhere else I asked they wouldn’t tell me where they were located ! Each time I was told a customer operations manager would return my call with in 24-48 hrs … well I’m still waiting !!!!

We’ve been to this location several times over the years. Today’s visit was one that made me come here to express what a great job they did. Wait time was pretty quick, service was great- Alison was our server and she did a great job- and the other staff members, specifically Courtney and Nikki, were extra friendly and personable. We saw training happening and it was done with grace and patience. Super impressed after today’s visit!

Well we went to breakfast,& we had a great waitress! It’s not her fault at all that we waited 45 minutes for our order for 2 people, or that on a below freezing day, that they had the air on inside! Very “uninviting.”. Not to mention my toast was forgotten with my omelet!! ♀️Get it together Bob Evans!

TLDR; burnt food, overworked staff, dirty dishes
It’s sad how much this place has gone downhill, I used to enjoy taking my family here. I won’t be going back. It is very obviously cut down to the bare bones there and I feel bad for the employees for being overworked. I just get cheapskate vibes from looking around. They don’t even have napkin dispensers on the table or a cloth napkin, so you have to bother your busy waitress when you need little things like that. Plus it took us a long time to even get our food to begin with. The silverware was gross, and we asked for plastic instead. It seemingly looks fine but they are all covered in a layer of grime and need a good soaking/scrubbing. I polished a small spot so it really is silver underneath, all of our utensils were like this. The jar style glasses also look like the could be cleaned better they were dusty around the threading on the rim. Didn’t even end up eating my food because it was burned. The menu described it as having sautéed mushrooms which I got 4 pieces I had to dig for that don’t add up to a whole mushroom. After that it made me realize all of the onions were burnt and one side of the steak tips. The home fries and eggs were bland. I sent the meal back and they didn’t charge for it. I will say at the very least they correct their problems but disappointing to have them come up to begin with. If you burn/ruin food you need to own it and start over. Last time I came here got a pancake hidden in the bottom of my stack that was white as a ghost, they did remake it but I think the cooks need to stop sending out garbage mistake food. If you won’t eat it don’t send it. My husbands plate of food this time did look good but I felt bad to keep bothering my busy waitress nor did I want to take my chances for the price. Instead I opt not to come back and I wouldn’t recommend going here.

Went and had breakfast here. Usually food is always good. Felt bad for the waitress, we were there at 8:30 am and she was alone. Had to ask for a refill but she was very kind and our food was hot and good. When we left at 9:10 a lot more of the staff showed up, so maybe it was just her for the early shift. I had the sunshine skillet and husband had Whole Hog breakfast.
