Just stopped in to check it out. Great outdoor setting and view. The wings were excellent and very crunchy . But I like them that way! It was in the middle of the day, it was not busy at the time. But there was five of us and we all enjoyed the food and a couple cold beers. Everyone enjoyed the time and we will be back again.

I finally understand what a wet burrito is — next time I’ll ask to hold the wet. The carne asada, though, really missed the mark; it looked pale and fatty, almost like boiled pork, and definitely needed a good sear. My son said the sauce on his burrito tasted off, like a “food callus,” which made us laugh but… not ideal.

The staff was kind, and the overall vibe of the place is good, though the cigarette smell was noticeable. I actually like the restaurant and want it to succeed, but that carne asada needs to be crisped up and seasoned properly. Right now, it looks a little suspicious.

Overall, worth the gamble.

Such a nice place with a real authentic Mexican feel and taste to escape the Tucson/Vail area. Nice cool patio area to dine or drink. Food is amazing and the Jamaica is soo yummy! Gracias El Herradura!! We will be back for sure!

Best tacos in Vail and all of East Tucson! The prices and daily specials will have you thinking that you time-traveled back to 1999! They have all of the basics here, a great selection of meats and even a full bar with draft beers. A true gem in the desert. If you haven’t checked out La Herradura Street Tacos, you are definitely missing out!

Stopped here for dinner on our way to Tucson, our 1st day of vaca. We wanted some authentic Mexican food and it was nearby. We should have kept on going. The food was average and we had to fight the flies the entire time we were eating. The drink station didn’t work and they didn’t have any bottle diet choices. So I opted for watered down lemonade . Counter service was lacking in customer service for sure. Would not recommend eating here.

My recent visit to this restaurant was disappointing due to the staff’s unprofessional behavior. I came in for lunch with a couple of friends, and while we were eating, we noticed that one of us had been charged more for the same item I ordered. When we approached the cashier to clarify, the response we received was unfriendly. It turned out that I had been charged for a water cup instead of a fountain drink, which I was unaware of until that point. After the interaction, one of my friends overheard the cashier making unkind remarks, calling me a “cheat” and “cheap.” This was highly unprofessional and left a very negative impression. Overall, the experience was unpleasant and not reflective of good customer service.

Food lacks flavor! The staff isn’t very friendly or greeting upon arrival. I felt like I walked in to a closed establishment and it was 9am. I ordered a bean , potato and chorizo burrito. And a breakfast burrito it was $20 . Burritos are on smaller side which wasn’t a problem only bc I couldn’t eat it anyways . Not good! I will not be back. It was a HUGE disappointment. Unfortunate . (Photo is of the “beans” , and the other the potatoe, bean, chorizo burrito.)

Rude waitress, they thought I didn’t speak Spanish…thinks everyone is rich out here….watch your men they love to flirt. Heard and say everything.
This is me waiting 20min on an order…customer service terrible. They also look to see if you leave them a tip for you order.

Small joint with great food and great service. They generally only have 1 or 2 people doing everything but they work pretty hard at making sure you are taken care of. They are much appreciated by us.
