Super nice place, the staff was friendly and the food was delicious. Im a vegetarian and usually its hard for me to find anything to eat on the menu but the cheese enchiladas were great!! My family also enjoyed the burgers,burritos and the fried shrimp, all were phenomenal. We look forward to visiting ruidoso every year and this is definitely going to be our go to spot. Thanks for everything!!

Sadly it was a bad experience… my chicken enchiladas were raw . The chicken was pink and obviously not cooked. I would have had food poisoning had I not inspected my food first. I exchanged for beef . The waitress could not stop apologizing I felt bad for her. Not her fault. Just be careful eating here. On the menu it says beware of eating raw meat in tiny print, I guess to leave them off the hook.

We were starving and we wandered onto this little gem. The wait staff was so very friendly. Three of us ate the breakfast. I had the omelet. It was good. My son had the breakfast burrito and really liked it. My youngest had the kids pancake. They made them into Mickey for him. He loved the special touch. My husband had the hamburger. He said it was ok. We all ate for around $40. This is a good place to stop.

The burgers, tamales, and menudo are my favorite here. As far as Mexican food goes here in Ruidoso, this is probably my favorite restaurant. It doesn’t have much of an atmosphere, and the service is slow, but the food is pretty good. Their gorditas, tacos, and enchiladas are also ok. Sadly they stopped selling the family to go pack of barbacoa, it was delicious, we used to order it quite frequently.
If you’re in the mood for some Mexican food, this restaurant shouldn’t disappoint, just be wary of the slow service. Also, they don’t serve alcohol.
Prices are not bad.

Me and my boyfriend were trying to eat, ten minutes of us waiting for a spot which there were plenty of open spaces to be set at. Once we were being placed at a table the waiter told us to give her a min to take are drink order then proceeded to help the people that were behind us taking their drink order and their meal order . I will never come back here again as an African American this is ridiculous in this date and age. Please work on your customer service skills

La Hacienda in Ruidoso impressed with its clean and well-maintained environment. The staff, while cordial, seemed primarily focused on business, providing efficient service without much personal interaction. I ordered chips and queso to go, but unfortunately, the queso fell short of expectations. While it was served promptly, it lacked flavor and the temperature was scalding, reaching temperatures hotter than the surface of the sun. Overall, while the restaurant is commendable for its cleanliness and prompt service, the quality of the queso left much to be desired.

We eat here several times per year, but last nights meal was really tasty. Chicken enchiladas with red sauce were tasty and spicy and the tacos adobado were great. Keep it up La Hacienda.
