Passing through Brownfield today, August 30th, 2025, and we stopped for breakfast at La Hacienda. When I saw all the vehicles in the parking lot, I knew this was a good decision, and it turned out to be the best part of our day.
The service was great and the breakfast was excellent.
I had Huevos Rancheros and my wife had Migas. Great food, service, and atmosphere!!

This is one of the restaurants in the entire state. Stopped for breakfast. The staff were cordial and fast. The dining room had chairs, tables, and TVs, and allowed human beings to sit and eat. The food was some of the breakfast we’ve had. Coffee was served in coffee cups. The biscuits and gravy were. So were the hash browns. If you are hungry for food, you could technically stop here.

We were in Brownfield from out of town and found La Hacienda. The food was authentic and delicious! The restaurant was very clean and the staff were very nice. The tacos, enchiladas, salsa and refried beans were so good. I live in Florida now, but wanted to let people know that if you’re in Brownfield or even just passing through, you’ll definitely want to try their delicious food.

The food looked good from the plate, but the taste wasn’t really there. Plus, the portions are small in a way like the restaurant tries to limit portions. The prices are not cheap either. The service was ok in a way. You attended a walk-in, and they forget of you during your stay for any other service you might need EXCEPT when the staff believes it’s time for you to go. They literally don’t ask you if you would like anything else. They bring the bill to you and ask if you’re done eating. Some would get offended by this, so I’m just sharing before you decide to go, I myself didn’t mind it. Though I very doubtfully think I’ll return.

This one of the better places to eat in brownfield it really good. Not only that, but they also have a buffet, and it not all that bad for lunch. It has its drawbacks, but it still has plenty of good options. But don’t expect to pay less than 15 to 20 dollars a person, but it’s worth the price
