Down-to-earth space with a terrace serving carefully sourced local fare & homemade pasta, plus wine.

For starters, we ordered mix of salami, which was unfortunately very low quality for the high price. As a main course, we had homemade pasta Bigoli al torchio con sugo di chianina, which was acceptable, though hardly digestible. The staff was nice but did not speak Italian very well. Overall do not recommend for the authentic Italian cuisine, but see for yourself.

Just steps from the Arena in Verona, you’ll find this excellent steakhouse. The T-Bone steaks are prepared over open flame using olive wood and charcoal and are served with assorted salts. They have a great selection of wines, sides, and other dishes if steak isn’t you’re looking for. Overall, this was a great find around the corner from our hotel. Enjoy!

We booked here for our last night in Verona as it was close to our apartment. Menu is steak-heavy, as expected, and the steaks are cooked in the restaurant on an open fire in front of you (very cool).
Wine was fantastic, and a wide range of choices. Steaks were cooked to perfection, and the Tiramasu was fantastic!
Staff could be a little friendlier, steaks were cooked perfectly however could do with a little more flavour. Would recommend this place, nice atmosphere

Phenomenal grilled steak and lamb chops. Grilled to perfection with natural sauces coming from meat. Strong Italian testosteron vibe when it comes to staff and the only person feeling confident speaking English is owner/manager, which is totally fine, as conversation with him is bonus experience: “you know it’s a lamb. IT’ssssssa aaaa lambbbbb, it’s fat”
Now imagine it with proper Italian gestures. It’s great restaurant with enormous wine selection, but you can get aperol or a draft beer too. It’s worth every penny and it’s really popular among Veronians, so it’s better to reserve before or get there on the early evening. It gets really busy, so you have to wait for waiter to notice you or just yell “scuzi!” – works too. When we were leaving, both rooms and outside tables were full and there were around 20 people waiting in the line. All Italians. That tells something

Went there twice on my trip, 100% recommend. Grandfather Angelo’s lamb cutlets were great but the truffle gnocchi was the absolute star of the show. Great service and great food.

The food was exquisite, best meal we have had so far we tried the steak with mushrooms and the truffled gnocchi, we got the potatoes as the side of the steak and dipped them in the gnocchi sauce, perfection.

Went to this restaurant with my friends for a nice evening meal. The staff were so lovely and attentive. Really felt welcomed here. There was a great choice of dishes, especially a large amount of steaks to choose from. I went for the gnocchi and it was actually spectacular, really filling also. The fillet steak with green pepper sauce was incredibly tender with great sides to choose from. Also got the tagliatelle which was rated highly. Good choice of desserts also but the dinner is so filling you might not want it.
Lovely location so great to stay. The service is also professional.
Really nice place to sit and enjoy .

“ Best Experience “ A true highlight in Verona. The food was excellent, especially the Fiorentina steak, which was perfectly grilled, juicy, and top quality. Fresh homemade pasta also my choice. The rest of the menu was also fresh and full of flavor. The service was just as impressive — very friendly, attentive, and professional.Highly recommended!
