I’m a fan of La Granja. Been to several locations and have been to extremely happy with their bowl dishes. First time at this location and I would not choose to come back again.
The staff were very nice and jovial. But the food experience was poor for me
My chicken bowl was very little chicken and an extreme amount of onions. And the amount of oil used was off-putting. Even after saturation the Rick and beans, so much oil collected at the bottom that I could not finish my meal. The rice was just too oily. The bottom of the bowl had a pool of cooking oil (see pic)
My wife had the same bowl and asked for no onions. It was not saturated in oil like mine but wasn’t as tasty as at other locations.

Food taste great. That’s all I can say positive. Compared to Latin food elsewhere, overly priced. Spent about $70 on a family meal and asked for one sauce just to be told I had to ring me up for it. With so many food options around town, you’d think they’d prioritize retaining customers who spend $70 on a trip over a nickel and diming for sauce

This place is great at other spots. We didn’t like this restaurant because the Latin people were very rude. From not only talking proper English. They didn’t want to cook our plantains well. They looked raw when they gave it to us. And gave us half a chicken when we ordered a whole family chicken mean. Double
check your order. The customer service needed a lot of help, which was horrible. Wouldn’t want to go again.

The lomo saltado and the grilled chicken sandwich were all excellent. Their garlic sauce added a nice flavor to the sandwich. The food was ready relatively quickly considering how busy they were especially the drive thru.

My wife and I ordered this through Uber Eats. We got the chicken fried rice and popcorn chicken and I can’t stress enough just how fast the diarrhea hit. Food did not taste good at all and I am severely regretting this sitting on the toilet as I write this review. Writing this review to hopefully save a family and their toilet ✊

I want to like this place for pretending to be affordable for central Florida lunch. But I didn’t come here for that. They charge as much as a sit down spot for fast food any other time($18+ for any dish)..The chicken and veggies(carrot/papa) in the soup was still hard and raw at 7pm.. hardly any noodles. Broth was flavored,but it wasn’t safe to sell.If you don’t have it then dont have it. I been sick for a whole day .if I can’t trust the quality of your food, doesn’t matter what you sell

Me and my boyfriend went to buy a steak bowl the small one but the employee told us it’s not available so we get the big bowl steak. Turn out it’s mostly onions in it!!!
