Only reason for the 2 star on the food is what I recieved, it was still good. Ordered the 4 piece reg dinner catfish, corn nuggets, and onion ring. Recieved the smallest catfish filets I have ever gotten from there. I did not order th skinny fillets either, as far as onion ring are concerned. I recieved 5 total(not even large one, laughable). Was told that was a standard order. 4 corn nuggets are apparently a standard order. This was a dinner order too. Looking through previous reviews/photos and what was brought to other tables catfish wise while we were eating I got the feeling they didn’t want to deal with correcting it. We have been coming here for years and this was a first. My daughter recieved more fish with her 2 piece kids meal fish dinner this trip.

I’d like to leave zero stars, but that wasn’t an option. We’d heard mixed reviews and decided to try this place- and instantly my “fajita salad” was a no. The chicken was lukewarm and the greens were also warm.
I’m not sure what passes for customer service- but when we gave our complaints, the cashier told us “ok”. We had taken two bites of our food and asked to pay for the drinks and we were going to leave her a tip. She continued the transaction as if not listening. I guess those dollars were important. I asked for the manager.
The “manager” came to the front and instantly started questioning me – one question after another- “what’s wrong with the food? Why don’t you like it? I don’t understand why you don’t like it?” I explained my issues with my fajita salad and my husband explained that yes, while piping hot- the food didn’t taste good. The manager was getting increasingly frustrated and began raising his voice “Well I sold 12 of that same plate, and nobody else complained!”
At this point I knew there wasn’t going to be a “next time” for us, and probably no resolution. I walked away-and went to the car. I was very frustrated because while my fajita salad was removed from the bill- he charged for a plate we didn’t eat. He charged us for the food my husband didn’t eat and didn’t care for, while arguing about how many plates he’d sold, and condescendingly asking “Well what was so bad with it?” “Why didn’t you like it?” Over and over and over. To the point my husband paid for his Barry touched plate and our drinks. I’m pretty sure that was the point.
It’s slop on a plate.
The lowest quality of “food” possible.
The fajita chicken wasn’t cut strips like usual- it was weirdly rounded shaped, very small pieces.
It didn’t taste good. It was dried out and the salad was warm and the chicken was cold- even in the middle. I was afraid I might get food poisoning due to temperature concerns.
My husband saw that I couldn’t eat the food and attempted to flag a server but no one ever stopped.
So if you enjoy subpar Tex-mex- “salsa” that tastes like the inside of a tin can, warm salad with cold chicken, less than decent food quality and what could be considered Tex- mex if Mexico was near to Antarctica- THIS is the place for you. Bonus points for argumentative manager and dismissive staff.
If you’d like to give your money to someone who doesn’t care about their quality of food or customers, this is the place for you.
I seriously cannot believe people eat and pay for this food.

I came across this comment about this place mind you I eat here every week and nothing has gone wrong before but let me clarify this comment -“Pat Burnett- you said the food was cold? How can a salad be cold¿ isn’t supposed be cold? And the queso tasted like powder? But still ate the hole thing + still asked for more chips and salsa is actually insane!!! You said it wasn’t what you were expecting’ in Reality you didn’t wanna pay for your food People theses days they don’t make sense but anyways make sure to go check this amazing restaurant out!!

I ate the grilled chicken and asked for grilled onions as one of my sides. It was delicious. The spicy bbq sauce made it better.

Queso tasted like it is made from some kind of cheese powder. Food was cold and very bland. Was not impressed.

We have really enjoyed coming here to eat. The food is always good. You will be served chips and salsa to snack on while you wait. The menu has a wide variety of choices and the prices are very reasonable!! Most importantly, the waitresses and the staff are always so sweet, helpful and friendly! It’s a little drive outside of town but it is totally worth it to drive there! If you haven’t been here to eat, you are missing out!

The fish is amazing. The chicken fry is also very good but you can’t go wrong with anything Mexican! Honestly I’ve never had a thing here I didn’t like. It’s family owned and the family is very warm and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable. We go here at least twice a month!
