This place feels like stepping into a cozy French countryside dream—intimate, romantic, and full of character. Every dish we tried was thoughtful, comforting, and beautifully executed.
The French onion soup was rich and deeply flavorful, topped with a perfectly caramelized cheese crust that alone is worth the visit. The steak frites were cooked just right, juicy and tender, with fries that were crisp, seasoned, and impossible to stop eating. And the fish entrée—delicate, well-balanced, and paired with greens that felt fresh and intentional—was quietly elegant.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere is special. It’s warm, nostalgic, and inviting—the kind of place where time slows down and conversation flows. You can tell there’s real care behind every detail, from plating to service.
If you’re looking for a charming, authentic French dining experience that feels both elevated and personal, La Fresa Francesa delivers on every level. Can’t wait to return. ✨
For dessert, the crepe was the perfect sweet finish—light, warm, and beautifully made. The wine selection was wonderful as well and paired perfectly with our meal.
From start to finish, it was a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend for anyone who loves great food, great wine, and a warm, inviting atmosphere and music. Transport yourself to a small paris bistrot with the lovely decor and tableware.
For our first course, we ordered the classic onion soup, gnocchi, and escargots. The soup arrived beautifully presented but only after more than a 30 minute wait. Eight minutes later, the gnocchi came out. Since they were going to get cold, we went ahead and ate them. We then told the waiter that after more than 45 minutes, it no longer made sense to bring the escargots. He replied that he hadn’t heard us when we ordered them, and that the dish had apparently come out later but the other waiter had no idea what was going on.
For the main course, we had the classic steak-frites, which we found just OK. We finished by ordering the profiteroles one of the main reasons for our visit only to be told they weren’t available. Not wanting to leave without dessert, we ordered the chocolate pot de crème.
To top it all off, when the bill arrived, an extra beer had been added by mistake.
Honestly, it’s unlikely I’ll return.
The food was great. Every dish we tried was flavorful, beautifully plated, and clearly made with care.
What really made the occasion more special was our waiter, Leo. He was absolutely fantastic—attentive, friendly, and genuinely enthusiastic about making sure our meal was perfect. His recommendations were spot-on, and his service made the whole meal feel so enjoyable.
Overall, La Fresa Francesa is a gem. Between the great food, charming ambiance, and incredible service (shoutout to Leo!), it’s definitely a place I’ll be returning to—and recommending to friends and family.
The foie gras pastelito was sweet, and savory. Pastry the right amount of crispy and chewy.
Escargot was good.
I really enjoyed the depth of the French onion soup. The soup came with a cheese crisp that I chose to break apart and allow re-melt inside the soup. This was actually my favorite part of the meal.
The duck leg confit was fall apart, flavorful and like someone’s French grandmother made it especially for you.
Finished with a crème brûlée that was solid. Would like to come back and try out a crepe for desert.
