Lily and all of our servers were amazing. The art in the restaurant is spectacular. We were a party of 9 and had a buffet of apps salads and entrees- everything exceeded our expectations. They were also so conscientious of my food allergy. Highly recommend- my fav margs were cucumber and tamarindo. Thank you for a fabulous dining experience!!

Late review but went here with my partner for the first time, i like to say it was amazing. Excellent service, well decorated. All the theme & lights. Food was delicious, drinks were on spot. Simply put, Amazing… the decor was exquisite and unique. The outfits worn were traditional to the Mexican culture. The staff was very attentive and explained the dishes in detail. And the food was probably one of the Best if not THE BEST Mexican food ive ever had… we had the Birria Tacos, the Special 3 meats Burrito and some Carnitas tacos, along with some deliciously adorned drinks… what a experience… it was like a show

What a wonderful experience we had! We sat in the vw bug table (I’m a vw bug fan!) And it was awesome! Something to look at every where inside and even outside! The food was absolutely amazing! The only thing I was not thrilled about was the rice… it was old and not tasting very well.. but overall fantastic dining experience!

A very lively Mexican restaurant that serves alcohol, does catering and seems great for a late night visit. The food was good, (chicken and pastor tacos) and the pina colada was served in a pineapple (tasty and very sweet ). The service was friendly (even though they do pressure you to do a Google review at the table). The music is great and I’d definitely recommend if you love bright vibrant vibes (IG atmosphere), good food and drinks. They have a parking lot but it was closed when I was there though it seems they offer valet parking (based on signs). Check them out but be prepared it gets pricey.

The Birria tacos were saucy, spicy and tender!! it gave off an amazing fragrance and freshness when it came down to the fresh, pickled red onions, and lettuce with onions.
My Un Coco Loco drink was boozy and sweet with a coconut & horchata twist, and I would definitely order again.
Definitely come here with the family or with friends or even just buy yourself and sit down at the bar and you’ll be welcome to an amazing environment. They also had live music!! The singer that night was awesome and he definitely loves his job as he was serenading the woman next to us whose birthday it was. She was absolutely in love with the song and everyone had a great time watching her celebrate her birthday. It makes me wanna come here and celebrate mine!!

I was not expecting this restaurant to literally light up when I walked in but that’s exactly what happened. The owners have made this place unique by using neon colors and black lights! The salsas were nice and spicy. I got the chicken fajitas which are definitely enough for 2 people. They tasted good but they were not piping hot when they were served to me as I had expected and got cold very quickly. I was a bit disappointed in that given there were only 3 tables with diners in the restaurant when I went. Overall it’s a fun vibe! I also was told my receipt would be texted to me as I put my phone number in their machine for a copy and they never sent it to me.

Had an amazing experience at the La Fortaleza Mexican restaurant in Garfield! The drinks were top-notch. Alejandro’s service was outstanding, making great recommendations and ensuring our visit was perfect. The food was truly delicious. Everything, from the ambiance to the attentive service and incredible food, made our visit memorable. Can’t wait to return!

First time at this place & we had a wonderful time! Our server Karen was super attentive & always checked in to make sure we were good. The food was delicious, drinks were great & atmosphere was so fun! We came on a night where there were two singers doing live performances of well known songs. So great, definitely recommend!
