Visited on a Friday evening. We made reservations via the phone and there is a hold charge for the reservation that is returned when you check in. We were seated at a beautiful round booth for a large party of 6 which was comfortable and spacious for our group. We were promptly greeted and our server Nicole was friendly. She provided great drink and food recommendations and knew the menu well based on taste preferences and dietary restrictions. The plates are shareable so we all ordered different things to try and share. I personally had the beef bourguignon, pomme puree and frites. The frites were so crispy and flavorful (truffle zest yes!). Truly shareable they came in a little mound that the whole table could enjoy. The beef was tender with a thick well seasoned sauce. The spirit free cocktail I enjoyed which was sweet and light. The ambiance is dark and moody and the decor truly resembles being in a forest grove. Perfect for date night or late night dinners (our reservation started at 9:00 pm) If you enjoy French cuisine or want to try La Foret is a great introduction for an experience.
Took rideshare so no recommendation regarding parking

An absolutely outstanding French dining experience. The venison was the undeniable star of the evening—perfectly cooked, impossibly tender, and layered with deep, rich flavor that showcased both the quality of the ingredient and the skill of the kitchen. Every bite was balanced and elegant, with accompaniments that enhanced rather than overwhelmed the dish.
The atmosphere was classic and inviting, the service attentive without being intrusive, and the entire meal felt thoughtful and refined. If you’re a fan of French cuisine—or even just curious—this venison alone is reason enough to return. Truly exceptional.

This is the best place I’ve been to in a very long time. All of the food was well balanced, and cooked to perfection. Service was phenomenal, staff was attentive and professional. I came in with a hat, it fell behind the seat & they helped me look for & retrieve it, I was so thankful. the French onion soup was full of flavor, and the mushrooms were amazing. The atmosphere is also absolutely gorgeous, unique organic design with soft warm lighting that sets the mood.

We came to celebrate a friend who is moving away. The food and atmosphere were fine, and the restaurant has a nice ambiance.
Unfortunately, the service significantly affected our overall experience. We fully understand restaurant rules and policies, including those regarding lighting or the use of flash. However, the issue was not the rule itself, but the manner in which it was communicated.
The interaction felt impolite and uncomfortable, and it could have been handled in a much more polite and professional way. As people who also work in the food industry, we strongly believe that respectful communication is essential, especially in an upscale French restaurant with a cozy atmosphere.
Because of this experience, we rated the service very low, even though other aspects of the restaurant were okay. We hope this feedback helps improve future guest experiences.

We’d been meaning to try this place for a long while and we finally were able to go! This place has amazing food! The tastes were beyond worth the wait. We had the venison, squash, and mashed potatoes. Now it sounds basic but the flavor was beyond words. The food was savory and flavorful. It was cooked to perfection and the portion sizes were great for the two of us. Each plate is meant to be shared so it’s all al la cart. Lucky for us the venison is a staple there. The menu does change from season on some things. We left with very satisfied stomachs. Not over full and not hungry. I like eating to the 80% mark. Our bar for restaurants is high for the quality of the food and this place rocked it. Not to mention the atmosphere was perfect!

Pro-tip, if you haven’t been here before, I’d suggest coming here after the sun sets (or maybe arriving as it’s setting so you don’t wait too long for a table).
Why? – Because the decor in here is beautiful and it really all pops once the sun goes down and the ambiance of the lighting kicks in. Very pretty.
Their menu was small, yet versatile and we shared everything at the table so we were able to try a few things.
Food- We ordered the Frites (basically, but was probably my favorite thing), Summer squash (was good, but underwhelming for the price), Half Chicken (loved the sauce that came with it, and if I ordered again would ask for extra sauce), and salad.
Drinks- I ordered the Oolong cocktail. It’s a very flashy cocktail, served with dry ice. It’s pricing by fun if you’re looking for an experience as such.
Great service from hostess, bar staff, and waitstaff.
The bathroom sink is wild and artistic, never seen anything like it before. Who knew a bathroom sink could be so fun.
They don’t take reservations, and don’t have a ton of tables. Get there before sunset as note earlier and you should be golden. 🙂

We went here for a date night. Very cute. Scale wise I thought it would be a bigger space but it’s still very cute and the staff was amazing about going through the menu with us. There was no wait on a Tuesday night.
I would say for the status and pricing of the menu, the food didn’t seem as fresh as expected. Great deep flavors as expected for sauces but nothing really stood out as a true quality dish (onion soup, frog legs, mushrooms, beef, venison and pomme all felt like very simple execution that left a little more of a desire for surprise or quality in freshness. Not to say there was anything bad about the food if you’ve never had these dishes before but if you have I would expect a step up from something you might make at home. Maybe just a bad day as I see a lot of really great reviews otherwise.
